Kai didn’t miss a beat as a smile curved up her lips, but it wasn’t a pleased smile. Her hand that held his chin drew back and her knuckles came into contact with his jawbone harshly. “Now, now, that’s no way to speak to a lady. Is it?” She gripped his chin once again. “You’d think a boy like you would have more manners than that.” A smirk curved up her lips. She looked to the back of her knuckles and frowned. “I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do that.” She shrugged slightly. “Now then.” She tilted her head to the side her crystal blue eyes still focused on him. “Not to sound too cliché….but would you rather do this the easy way? Or the hard way?” She glanced over her shoulder to her brothers. “They aren’t nearly as forgiving as I am.” Armin looked to Willow and gave a reassuring nod to her. “It’s alright.” He spoke, his voice soft. His honey eyes looked over her a moment. He then looked back to his sister whom had stood to her feet and she walked to a cabinet in the corner and opened it. She withdrew an old towel that was already bloodied and wiped her knuckles off. Rhett stepped forward, his eyes focused in on the lycan. “How idiotic of you to speak to my sister in such a manner.” He spoke, his voice was commanding. “Why did Ignatius want his servant back so badly? Surely there are other humans he could find.” He scoffed. “My brother has taken a liking to this one. She’s not going back to that pack. In fact. You coming into our home the way you did.” He shook his head and clicked his tongue. “I’m going to have to take care of a few things…respect is one of them.” He looked to Remus. “So, tell me something that would be of interest, mutt.” His voice was a growl. “What has Ignatius told you? Or would you like me to start cutting you to pieces? I’ll start small. Don’t worry.” He leaned down and glared into the man’s eyes. “Unless you chose to talk to us, that is.”

As the interrogation began she thought that seeing Rhett, Kai and Armin in an aggressive role that she would feel fearful of them once more. However even when Kai struck Remus she didn't even flinch. The only person she feared in the room.. was Remus and he was in no position to harm her. She looked up to Armin as he glanced back to reassure her and she gave him a nod back. There was no way he'd let Remus harm her.
Remus groaned and growled after Kai struck him, then spit out a bit of blood on the ground, before snarling at the group. When Rhett stepped in front of him it was clear that Remus recognized him as an alpha as he couldn't seem to hold the man's gaze for more than a second or two. "That whelp has always been his favorite." Remus growled as he looked up at Willow with hatred burning in his eyes. "He's convinced the woman has some sort of worth. If it were up to me I'd let her be your problem from now on." He chuckled then. "I dont know why he thinks any human could bring strength to any pack. She's just a servant. Even if you dress her up like some sort of nobility she'll never be worth more than any other human. They're fodder to be used for our amusement in hunts!" He pulled against his chains, the metal straining to hold him, as he leaned towards Willow menacingly.

It was Armin whom snarled to the words of Remus. He stepped forward and his boot connected with the man’s jaw harshly. He leaned down and gripped the lycan by his throat, his eyes glared into Remus’. “She’s not going anywhere.” He growled deeply, his nails dug into the man’s throat causing a bit of blood to trickle down to his shirt. He shoved him back hard and stood as he took a step back. Rhett raised his brows slightly and then glanced to Willow. He hadn’t expected such aggression from his younger brother. Armin wasn’t normally one to get too involved in the interrogations. Sometimes he would, but mostly he would remain silent. The alpha crossed his arms as he looked to Remus. “Tell me what Ignatius’ plans are with the pack, Remus.” He spoke his voice a growl. “How many mutts does he have following him these days?” Kai grabbed something from the cabinet then. A baseball bat with nails beaten into it. It wouldn’t be pleasant to be hit with, that was for certain. She stepped forward and handed the bat to her brother, a wicked grin upon her lips. “You had better start talking.” She giggled.

The swift kick from Armin threatened to knock Remus unconscious once more and as the blood ran down his next and chest he groaned as he hung from the shackles that held him to the wall. He shook his head to try and keep the fog from his mind that pain brought. "Dozens.." Remus told Rhett. "Well over a hundred." He stated. "Packs pledge their alliance to him constantly. If he wanted to crush your pack he could in a single night."
As Armin stepped back once more Willow gripped his arm gently. Remus saw this and sneered up at her. "Find yourself a guard dog then?" He asked then eyed the bat that Rhett now held and decided to word his next statement carefully. "You know Ignatius was planning on taking you out of your servant role, hmm? The silk he had you buy.. that going to be made into a dress for you. Silk for a bride is fitting isn't it?" He chuckled. "Told me himself. You were going to be our alphas mate, but you betrayed us. You'd be lucky if he didn't kill you for it."
"I would never consent to that." Willow stated. "Why would he do that anyway? Lilly wants to be his mate. She's always wanted that."
"Yes, but for some reason he things the pups you'd give would be stronger. A generation to rule the others is what he said. I think it's absurd." He growled and spit another bit of blood on the ground at Willow's feet.

Rhett snarled as Remus claimed that the Silverfang pack could easily defeat his own. Unlikely. He gripped onto the bat in his hands, his eyes even seemed to darken slightly. Kai stood with crossed arms her jaw tightened, her own eyes had melted into the honey color finally. Armin had looked to Willow and his eyes softened as he looked to her, he gave a nod, but just as he did Remus pipped up once again. He growled and went to step forward to take another swing at the mutt, but Rhett put his arm out to block his brother and shot a glare to him. Armin took a step back to Willow once again, he glared to Remus as he spoke of the marriage. “Filthy mutt. You cannot force a fae into things.” He snapped as he stepped forward. This time he pushed Rhett’s arm out of the way. He gripped onto Remus’ throat. “What he doesn’t understand is that he should have treated her with some since of respect.” He glared into the eyes of Remus. “I doubt you even know what a fae is, idiot.” He shoved him harshly. “Our kind protected them years ago.” Armin spoke. “We are meant to protect them. Not force them to create a new hybrid. I’ve heard of the disgusting things that Ignatius has done over the years.” He growled deeply. It seemed Armin did not take lightly to someone speaking poorly of Willow. Which caused Kai to smirk, she shot a glance to Willow and a giggle came over her lips as she replayed their previous conversation. Rhett stepped forward as Armin once again backed away from the lycan. “Any other wise comments?” He questioned as he bounced the bat in his hands. “Would you like to offer anything helpful? Or are you just here to make snide remarks about Willow?” He took a swing. The nails made contact with the lycan’s side ripping into his flesh. Rhett tilted his head as he set the bat on his shoulder and he looked to him. “Oh ouch…that looked like it hurt.” He chuckled, a smirk upon his lips. “Speak up mutt.”

Willow tensed as she comprehended exactly what Ignatius had planned to do. Armin had rescued her from the Silverfang pack just in time it seemed and it made her all the more grateful for him. Being Ignatius's mate would have been far worse than being his servant. At least as his servant she avoided being in his bed.
"A fae?" A Remus asked with a bit of confusion as he looked to Willow. He hadn't thought Willow was anything more than a lowly human. It was easy to see the gears turning slowly in his mind as he pieced things together. As Remus struck him with the bat though he howled in pain. "I dont know anything else!" He yelled as he squirmed and writhed in pain. "He wants her back! He'll do anything! I don't know what he's gonna do next you asshole! He doesn't tell anyone!"
As Rhett hit Remus she flinched and turned to leave the cell area to head back upstairs. She couldn't take any more of the beatings. She had been on the receiving end of angry wolves in the past and wasn't willing to watch someone go through the same thing, even if it was someone she hated. Once she reached the ground floor she kicked her shoes off as she jogged towards the front door and ran outside into the storm.
The thunder and lightening had stopped but the rain continued to pour down and quickly soaked her clothes. Her feet slipped on the wet stones and muddy ground as they carried her to a small tree within the lavish garden kept by the Blackridge pack. She sit down by the trunk of the tree and pulled her knees up to her chest as memories of her own punishments flashed through her mind. Her eyes changed to the silvery color from the night before and the tree she sat against seemed to slowly bend over and enclose her within its branches in a protective manner, sheltering her from the rain.

Rhett snarled viciously as he glared at the lycan. “I’m sure you’ll think of something.” He spoke with a darkness to his voice. This was the side of him that Rose had brought forth. She had truly made him into the Alpha that he was. When Willow left Armin glanced over his shoulder, her brows tugged together. He glanced back to his brother whom slammed the weapon against the other side of the lycan. Kai nodded to her brother as she stepped and took the bat from Rhett. Armin gave a nod to his sister before he turned and rushed from the room. He sprinted up the stairs and stepped out into the rain. He gazed up to the skies and he followed Willow’s muddy prints across the yard to the large oak tree. “Willow?” He asked. His voice was soft. His hair hung down in his eyes from the rain, his clothing was drenched by the time he ‘d reached her. “Hey…” He spoke as he sat down in front of her. He gave a soft, almost sad smile. “I’m sorry, about that.” He searched her eyes. “You don’t have to worry about any of that happening to you…and you most certainly do not have to worry about Ignatius and his pack. Our pack is more than large enough to handle him.” He didn’t reach out to her. He merely sat with his knees bent, his arms rest upon his knees as he gazed to her. He looked up to the tree that had hunched to make a canopy around them. “That’s a neat trick.” He spoke in a gentle voice, “And your eyes, are stunning.” He smiled then to her. “Can I do anything, Willow? To make it better?” He searched her eyes carefully.

Willow's hair clung to her face as she sat huddled on the ground. When she heard Armin's voice call her she turned her head to look up at him and watched as he sat in front of her. "It's ok.. I know I shouldn't worry about it, but it's hard to simply forget." She told him honestly. The fact that the evil that Ignatius had inflicted upon her was so prevalent in her mind also bothered her. She wanted to be free from the memory of him but she couldn't make herself forget. Not when it was the majority of her life.
When he looked up to the tree she followed his gaze and was a bit surprised by what she saw. She had no idea the extent of her power and this was just something else new she discovered. "I didn't know I could do that." His compliment of her eyes made her think that there was something different about them but she wasn't exactly sure what he was seeing. Regardless it caused her to smile. "I don't know. I still feel helpless. I know you've all promised to keep me safe, but what if I'm caught alone? There's nothing I can do to protect myself." She rested her chin upon the backs of her hands as they rested on her knees. "I have this.. power, but I don't know how to control it. I don't even know what all it does."
As she looked at Armin she wanted desperately to crawl into his arms and feel him next to her. She wasn't near brave enough to do such a thing though, or even ask.

Armin watched her with a bit of a furrowed brow, it was a look of worry. A look that he knew that she may not have been used to. The lycan frowned slightly as she spoke of her fear. She wasn’t wrong. What if he hadn’t been fast enough to save her from Remus? Or better yet. What if Remus had snatched her from the balcony. She would have been long gone before the pack members woke. “I won’t let that happen.” He assured her, his eyes stayed on hers. He drew in a long breath and he did something then. The lycan moved carefully, almost cautiously. “Here.” He spoke as he pulled her into his arms. He held her there. He didn’t speak for a long time. He merely took in slow even breaths as he stared out to the rain. “I will help you learn how to protect yourself. We will learn your powers together.” He spoke after a few moments of silence. Armin rest his head against the tree for a long moment. His eyes looked up to the branches one again. It was an incredible sight to see. Something that he’d never expected. He didn’t know what to expect from Willow, but he didn’t care. He wouldn’t allow her to fall back into the hands of the other pack…she didn’t deserve to be treated in such a way. Not when his kind centuries ago used to protect her kind. How could Ignatius treat her in such a way and then plan to force her into marriage? He could only imagine how terribly that would have gone. Thankfully his wolf had told him there was something about this girl, something that he needed to save. He gazed down to her with a soft worry in his eyes.

His reassurance was sweet but she knew there was no way he could actually guarantee it. Though as he moved closer to her she felt her heart beat quickly within her chest. As he pulled her into his grasp she gladly leaned against him and closed her eyes. As he spoke she could feel the rumble in his chest from his voice and smiled as she nuzzled against him. "Kai promised the same thing." She told him and looked up at him. "I'm sure we can come up with some way to keep the Silverfangs at bay between the three of us."
As he looked back down at her the silver in her eyes faded back to their dark green color. She reached up and gently caressed his cheek with her finger tips. It was a bold move on her part, but she hadn't really thought about it before hand. The fear she felt quickly melted away and with it so did her magic. The tree that had been sheltering them from the rain began to lean back once more to its original position and Willow blinked as raindrop fell on her face. "I guess we should head back inside. Doesn't seem like the storm is going to ease up anytime soon."

Armin had a bit of a smirk as he looked down to her. “Oh well, if Kai has promised to teach you how to protect yourself you’ve nothing to fear.” He gave a slight chuckle. “Rhett will help too, and…I’m certain Rose will have ideas…” He stuttered slightly as she touched his cheek. He blinked his crystal eyes slowly and his smile turned into a gentle curve. He seemed completely oblivious to the tree movement, his eyes were locked on hers. The blue of his hues seemed to gain a bit of a golden color within the iris, swirling in. It wasn’t the same as when he was fueled by anger, or when his senses were triggered. This was a different look entirely. As the droplets of rain began to fall upon the back of his head, he only seemed to notice when Willow spoke once again. The lycan stared to her another moment, as if he wanted to say something. But, words did not utter over her lips. He merely gave a slight chuckle. “Careful.” He spoke with a smirk. He adjusted her gently and then he stood and helped her to her feet. He gazed down to her another moment, almost as if he was mesmerized by her somehow. “We should get inside, you’re right.” He chuckled as he looked up to the droplets that seemed to be falling more quickly upon them. He took her hand and led her back toward the home. Armin led them up the stone walkway and to the foyer of the home. He looked to his soaking wet clothes and another laugh came over his lips. “You know Willow. I hate getting water on me.” He raised a brow as he looked to her. “And yet. I don’t seem to mind.” He chuckled as he turned and gazed into her eyes a moment. He felt a shiver run down his spine and he looked away with another laugh. “You must be cold, hm?” He spoke as he began to lead her up the stairs. “I’m sure Kai has something you can wear that isn’t drenched.” He commented. His hand still held onto hers as he led her along. He knocked on Kai’s door, nothing. He pushed the door open and peered inside. “Kai?” He questioned. There was a soft singing from the bathroom, she must have been in the bathtub, she had a habit of having her ears beneath the water as she lay back. Armin drew in a breath and pulled the door closed. “Maybe she can get something for you after she’s done?” He asked and led her down the hall. He stepped into his room and searched through his things. “I…don’t really…uh…” He glanced to Willow, a bit of a smile curved up his lips. “You….are…” He shook his head and a blush covered his cheeks then. He sighed and once again shook his head. He couldn’t find the words.

The gold laced through his blue hues was gorgeous. She didn't understand the reason for the change in color, but that didn't stop her from continuing to look up into his eyes. This was like a small slice of heaven to her. The gentle way he held her and the way he looked at her made her melt in his arms. She was sad to feel him pull away from her as they got back up on their feet, but as he took her hand she felt her heart flutter once more within her chest and she smiled as she walked to keep up with him as they headed back inside.
When he stated he didn't like getting wet she gave him a bit of a guilty look as she brushed her wet hair out of her face. It stuck tightly against her head and cheeks from the rain and her clothes hugged her body tightly. Though the cool, dry interior of the house did quickly cause her to begin to shiver. "It's a little cold." She admitted and followed him up the stairs to Kai's room. When it became apparent she wasn't going to get any clothes from her at the moment she resigned to simply staying in the wet clothes for a bit.
As Armin lead her to his room she nodded at his comment about waiting for Kai. Though as he tripped and stuttered over his words she tilt her head slightly to the side. "What?" She asked in curiosity. "I can go dry off in the bathroom across the hall if I'm making you uncomfortable." She offered, not quite catching his meaning.

Armin gave a laugh, he looked almost uncomfortable. He shook his head. “No. No it isn’t that at all.” He smirked to her, the pink remained upon his cheeks. He reached forward and brushed her hair from her face as he seemed to study her. “There’s just...something about you, Willow.” He tucked the lock behind her ear as he gazed into her eyes. A crooked smile curved up his lips as he stood there for a moment, almost frozen. He then cleared his throat and gave another awkward chuckle. “Sorry….about that...uh...” He turned back to his dresser as he searched through it. He pulled out a pair of lounge pants and a tunic that wouldn’t be quite her size like Kai’s things, but it would get her out of the soaking wet clothing. “Um...a towel, yes?” He nodded and led her across the room. “Here, you are.” He cleared his throat and stepped over to the balcony. He brushed his fiery locks from his eyes as he watched the rain fall outside. “Some storm...” He spoke, filling the silence.
Armin had grabbed a towel for himself and he rubbed it over his hair to stop the droplets of water from running down his face. After he had done this he waited until she was finished changing before he turned and he smiled. “I’ll get Kai to get you something more suitable soon...I just didn’t want you to freeze.” He laughed lightly before he disappeared into the other room for a few minutes. When Armin emerged he wore a black tunic and pants to match. He set his soaking wet shoes by the bathroom door. A chuckle came over his lips. “Better?” He asked with a smile. "So...." He bit his lip slightly. He was still stuttering over his words it seemed. "Do you know any defense?" He asked curiously. "I could teach you a few things, before Kai starts working with you." He smiled once again.

To say that Armin's words simply flustered Willow would have been a severe understatement. As brushed the lock of hair behind her ear she was torn between covering her face and leaning in closer to him. Her indecisiveness caused her to simply stand idly smiling like a fool up at him. When he fetched the clothes out of his drawer and turned his back so she could change she silently berated herself for her lack of courage. Kai would have been beside herself with laughter to see how she floundered in front of Armin. She didn't want to ask Kai for help either. He was her brother and she imagined it would be a whole other level of awkward she wasn't really ready for.
She quickly stripped out of the soaked and muddy dress in favor of the dry clothes Armin provided. They weren't flattering like the dresses Kai lent her were but they were warm and comfortable. Plus she could move freely in them which was a very large bonus in her mind. "Thank you." She replied to him and tied her hair up so it didn't get the back of her shirt wet. "I feel much better."
When he returned after changing into his own set of dry clothes she had sat herself on his bed and was trying to think of something to say to him when he returned. He didn't give her near enough time to think though and when he returned, luckily, he had another topic of discussion. "I mean.. if it's against a human I can hold my own decently well. There were times drunkards would get a little pushy when I was in town, but I don't know how to fend off someone who is greatly stronger than myself. She needed to know how to fend off a wolf, not a human.

Armin smiled as he gazed to her sitting on his bed. He was almost flattered that she felt comfortable enough to make herself at home in such a way. He tilted his head slightly, “Well, human or wolf….we all fall the same.” He spoke a smirk upon his lips. “I can get you a dagger that will be very helpful. It is dipped in pure silver. Deadly….our pack has used it for executions over the years. When we have a member of another pack, it’s how we put them out of their misery in a...better way than what would need to happen otherwise.” He took in a deep breath as he thought of the plan. “But, you’ll have to learn how to use a dagger, hm?” He stepped over to the desk and opened the drawer and pulled out a dagger that had been in his family for generations. It had a wolf carved into the hilt that had blue jewels for its eyes. He moved to her and sat on the bed next to her. “We can practice with this, it’s safe enough.” He chuckled lightly. Armin gazed to her once again, his eyes stuck on hers for a moment, that crooked smile returned. He reached forward and brushed a few stray hairs from her eyes. “Can’t have those in the way.” He winked.
The lycan then turned his attention to the dagger. “Have you ever used one of these?” He asked, “You know your way around a kitchen knife pretty well. It isn’t terribly different. Just watch the double edge.” He held the sheathed dagger to her.
