First time doing an Interest check? There are a lot of ways to do them!! Here are some ideas to get you started:
1. Short Bio / Introduction - if you want. This could include anything you want, but usually a little bit about yourself is very helpful. A lot of people prefer certain age brackets, and maybe a little bit about how frequently you know you tend to post. Be honest upfront, it will deter from ghosting.
2. Provide a breakdown on your favorite genres, types, or fanfiction!
3. If you have certain restrictions - be sure to provide them, what you do and do not like, what is considered unacceptable.
4. You can provide some ideas, or plot concepts, if you have them on hand!
5. Specify the best way for people to get ahold of you, and how you wish to communicate.
6. Specify how you handle OOC vs IC! If you prefer a lot of OOC chatter, or want to stick to just writing!
Here is an example for you, of how I might do mine!

First off, I am 25+ in age, I am a female who can play any role. I work a remote job and tend to post multiple times in a day, but more frequently in the evenings! Below is a list of genres, and things that I am craving... Everything here is just starting points - so if you like it, feel free to message me and we can build further! I am a big fan of Original Content, and world building, I don't mind a good fanfic, but I do enjoy adding in original tidbits to make it fresh!
Genres I Like:
-Fantasy, like Final Fantasy like worlds!
-Dark / Gore / Twisty - Dark themes are great, and I love them a lot.
-Sci-Fi/Future - I enjoy a NeoCity like concept, or space adventures
-Magic - In the Lord of the Rings, Skyrim or Dragon Age, DnD sort of style.
-Politics/Religion Building - I enjoy a rp that has a strong Civilization background with its own Politics and Religions. I am happy building my own religions but also using or mimicking DnD religions, or mythologies are ideal. No intention of copying OOC religions though.
-World Building - I LOVE building my own world, cities and backgrounds
-Dragons/Mages/Elves/Fae etc - I love anything with these in it
-Medieval/Kingdom - I love a good classic Medieval story. Princess/Prince, Knights and etc.
-Vikings - Enough said
-Pirates - Arrrr
-Romance: Tasteful romance that is realistic and true to the characters, there's a line!
-Mature Themes/Words: Blood, Gore, Torture (To a degree), Phycological Terror, Mature topics. NO ERP. See below as well
Things I don't mind:
-Vampires/Werewolves: I haven't had the worlds best experience here, but will give it a go if you desire.
-Realistic/Modern: I am also not a fan of modern, especially High-school settings, I'm willing to give more adult like scenarios a go.
-Fanfiction: I haven't done Fanfic in a LONG time, I don't mind the idea but I prefer a decent amount of original content added to it.
Things I wont do:
-ERP / Erotica / Sex: I will do romance, and some level of intimacy, but sex scenes should fade to black. Sorry.
-High School Roleplays: Sorry, my HS experience was crap and I don't really want to RP HS
Details you might want to know about my writing style - and expectations!
-I tend to write 1-2 main characters, and multiple side characters. You are not expected to do this, but it is always enjoyable!
-I like to 'assign' portions of the world to each writer, allow them to develop the portion of the world. It may be a city, a race, a religion, whatever it is. I would want you to develop it, create a backstory for it, and drive anything related to that *thing*. The purpose is to allow you to equally contribute to the world, and give you 'DM' like powers to help direct, guide and drive story!
-I don't like to plan a plot TOO much. I think generic ideas are great, but I prefer to let the RP drive the plot and see where it goes.
-Please don't give away your backstory too swiftly, it's no fun that way! Don't tell me your characters backstory either in OOC, I want to let my character have a fresh and wholistic experience.
-Fallible characters are a must, allow your character a chance at development.
-Don't be afraid to play a powerful character, I encourage it! Please make sure the character has their flaws though! The basics!
-Romance is GREAT, but please keep it realistic. Characters should not be in love and making out by post 10.
-I encourage you to move time, move my characters and progress a story along when needed. If you ever feel like you want to - let me know! The only thing I wish you do not do is - react for my character... but if my character is passed out or something, yes. Move them!
-I do enjoy OOC chatter but am also fine if you rather not. I'm easy going, trust me! I just want you to communicate with me and give it your best go!
