Adelaide hugged herself against him with a smile upon her lips, “Hm, perhaps it’s the idea that I want you to have.” She kissed along his jaw once again. When he kissed the top of her head she snuggled against him and let out a content sigh. As his words came over his lips she nearly held her breath. Love? Her brows rose slightly, though her face was pressed into the nape of his neck. She’d never thought anyone would truly...love her. She had been an item tossed around so easily that she had given up, just as she told him, she never thought that she’d be quite so attracted to a man that she was to marry. But love. A soft chuckle came over her lips as she lifted her head up to gaze into his eyes. Though as she looked up to Henry she felt his body relax as he slipped into the deep slumber. A soft sigh came over her lips, though she still smiled. “I won’t forget, I couldn’t if I tried.” She whispered softly as if he were still awake. “I...” She lay her head back down and traced along his chest as she thought of his words again. Was it love? Is that what she was truly feeling? In all her years she’d never felt anything like she felt toward Henry.
Adelaide closed her eyes as she drew in a deep breath. She couldn’t answer that question. She wasn’t certain of how to answer it. But...he loved her. If he loved her then...she must love him? She let out another long breath, it seemed her mind wouldn’t let her be. Too much alcohol always seemed to do that to her, she’d overthink even the simplest things. She listened to the sound of the pack walking around above them, it was a distant sound...they weren’t plodding around...it was as if they were trying to keep quiet for the two vampires that rest in the basement. “I love you too, Henry.” Adelaide whispered sleepily after nearly an hour of silence. Her eyes fluttered and soon enough she slipped into a deep slumber herself.
It felt like she had just closed her eyes when a sound caught her attention. The door. Adelaide’s eyes opened and she moved quickly in the darkness of the room. She nearly fell as she rushed toward the shadow that had entered, her fingers wrapped around the throat of the individual and she pressed them against the wall. Her eyes had melted into the golden color once again and a snarl came over her lips. “What are you doing in here?” She questioned as her eyes stared to Oliver, whom had a playful smirk upon his lips.
“I was bringing you two breakfast.” He raised a brow and then chuckled softly. “You seem to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed, love.” He didn’t try to remove her hands, he simply stood in a relaxed fashion. “Would you mind?” He asked a grin upon his lips. “I don’t think we are quite there yet.” He winked to her.
Adelaide drew her brows together as she glared to him a moment, her hold on him tightened slightly before she released him. “You could knock. You know?” She spoke as she took a few steps back from him.
“Hm. I could.” Oliver replied with a smirk. “Evening, Henry.” He spoke and then grinned before he pulled a cart into the room that had two glasses upon it and a bottle of what appeared to be wine. “Drink up.” He spoke as he looked to Adelaide. “You’ll need your strength for tonight.” He reached forward to cup her cheek but Adelaide took a step back from him, she had her arms crossed over her chest. Oliver clicked his tongue, he then smiled. “Apologies.” He spoke before he slipped from the room.
Adelaide stood for a long moment, her eyes stared to the now closed door. She took in quick breaths as she calmed herself. A wolf pack seemed much worse than the coven. At least at first glance it felt that way. She finally allowed her arms to fall from her chest before she walked to the cart and she popped the bottle open. She poured both glasses before she came to the bed and sat down she offered a glass to Henry and gave him a soft smile. “We just do this for them and then we can go. Vivian will show me how to control the wolf that I have become and...we will get back to the coven...and we will be fine.” She seemed as if she was trying to convince herself of this more than anything. She lifted the glass to her lips and then frowned as she took in a whiff of the liquid. “What is that?” She questioned as she wrinkled her nose. She glanced to Henry as she took the glass back from him. "We can't drink this." She spoke as she stood and set the glasses back on the cart. She tapped her fingertip against the wood of the cart a moment as she drew in a breath. Whatever was in that blood seemed to call to the lycan within her. She cleared her throat slightly. "We can drink a fine vintage back at the estate when we are finished with this. Hm?" She smiled to him as she stepped over and placed a kiss upon his cheek. "Do you remember last night?" She asked then as she searched his eyes. She vividly remembered his words. But she wondered if it was merely the alcohol that was talking when he'd said such a thing to her.

When Henry heard the knock on the door he also got up from the bed, but Adelaide was faster than him.. much faster. Though when he saw her handle the situation he couldn't help but smirk at Oliver as he was sent on his way. Henry thought he was a prick and was more than happy to watch Adelaide give him the cold shoulder. "Mmm, yeah I don't think I'm going to accept a drink from anyone else ever again." He said as she took the glass she had handed him back.
He smiled as she kissed his cheek and then ran his fingers through his hair as he tried to recall the previous night. It was fuzzy. Lose images and sounds that didn't make much sense together. "I.. I don't know. I remember taking the drinks and then coming down here after you left. Not to much else after that." His smile faded. "Did something happen?" He glanced over her form. "They didn't touch you did they?"

“I would agree to that rule.” Adelaide gave a smile to him as she straightened her clothing. She gazed up into his eyes as he seemed to fall deep in thought. Though her expression showed a bit of hurt when he told her that he couldn’t remember. However, that expression was merely a moment or two before she offered another smile. “No. No Oliver was a gentlemen surprisingly.” She spoke before she drew in a breath. “I’m glad you’re alright, Henry.” She leaned up and kissed him then, her fingertips curled around the back of his neck and slightly into his hair. She pulled back and gazed into his eyes a moment. “Let’s...get this over with...then we can get back to the coven. Hm?” It seemed they would only jump from one pot of boiling water into another. She wondered how her grandfather was fairing.
**
“Fran? Where is Addie?” Vincent questioned as he stood in the empty room. “Tonight is important...” He grit his teeth slightly.
Fran bit her lip, “She was still so shaken up...I could see it in her eyes. They just went out for a fresh breath of air...”
“What aren’t you telling me?” Vincent questioned, his eyes never left her, his arms crossed over his chest.
Fran drew in a breath, she gave a light uncomfortable chuckle. “Well...” She spoke. “Addie was bothered a lot more by this than you realize my lord….she nearly died...she was kidnapped...the man that she was supposed to marry nearly killed her...and you just want to push on, as if nothing happened...it upset her, my lord...”
Vincent didn’t speak for a long moment as the words settled in. His expression softened. “I...suppose I was only looking at the goal...nothing more...” He looked to the window then and gave a nod. “Very well. We shall call the banquet off for a few nights. Claim she needs time to recover from her kidnapping. The coven should understand that...and with that it will give more time for...Nicholas’ clan to...morn his loss when they discover his body. They will set a man hunt and we will offer assistance.” He nodded slightly and then turned. “Fran...if there is something you aren’t telling me...now would be a good time.”
“That’s all it is, my lord. She just needs a bit of R and R.” Fran gave a soft smile.
**
Adelaide gazed to Henry a long moment. “How much trouble do you think William and his Gargoyle will be?” She asked curiously as she stepped to the wardrobe and searched through it for something better than a tank top and pajama pants.

"Yeah, good idea." A bit in a daze after the kiss and smiling like a fool for a moment before getting up and clearing his throat as he adjusted his own clothing. "William and.." he started to say as his hands went over his chest and then to his pockets. "No.." he grit his teeth and seemed to panic for a moment before beginning to search through the bed.
"They took my weapons. All of them." He stated and then slammed the drawer of the nightstand so hard it broke the track. "They had to have searched my entire body for those. Every last knife I had hidden and everything!" He growled as he looked towards the door. He had half a mind to go upstairs and start ripping out throats until his things were returned.
It wasn't that the objects were particularly valuable but they were his and his best means of defense. They wanted him helpless and docile, as was perfectly evident by them drugging him into unconsciousness.

Adelaide gave a smile to him as she turned. Though her smile quickly melted away as she saw the panic in his expression. “What…?” She questioned as she rushed forward to the bedside table where she’d placed all of his weapons before she crawled into bed with him. “I...” This was her fault. She had disarmed him. She bit her lip slightly. “It...wasn’t the pack that disarmed you Henry...” She lowered her eyes slightly. “I...before you lay down I disarmed you...I put everything right here.” She placed her hand on the empty bedside table. She swallowed as she thought of the situation that they were now in. Defenseless. If they wanted to fight they simply couldn’t. The pack would overwhelm them.
Adelaide bit her lip again as she looked to Henry. “It’s my fault...Henry...” She slipped around him and went to the door. “I’ll fix this.” She spoke as she curled her fingertip around the door handle. She glanced to him. “I promise. We will be fine. It’s just a game I’m sure.” She gave a nod as she turned the knob.
The door pushed open into her hand and to her surprise Vivian waltzed into the room. “Someone sounds angry this evening.” She spoke with a smirk upon her lips. She glanced to Henry and then to Adelaide. She stood with her hand upon her hip as she looked back to Henry. “Quite the little armory that you had on you.” She grinned. “Nice craftsmanship on the knives. I’ve never seen a vampire with so many weapons.” She watched him as if she expected him to lunge, she seemed to calculate his response as she tilted her head slightly. “You upset Yulia, Henry. That poor girl, I think she went to her room and cried all day. I’ve never seen her so distraught. She wouldn’t tell me what you did to her.” She raised a brow and looked to Adelaide with a bit of a smirk. “Get dressed, hm?” She stared into Adelaide’s eyes, she stood uncomfortably close to her. “We have plenty to do and we shouldn’t waste any of the moon’s light.” She slipped passed her then.
Adelaide stood with her hand on the door handle, her jaw tightened. Her brows pulled together. She briefly remembered the woman that was in the room as she had returned. The jealousy bubbled up in her chest once again as she shut the door and walked over to the dresser once again. She pulled at the clothing and pushed pieces around until she had decided on what to wear. She stepped over to the foot of the bed and looked to Henry a moment. “You’re sure you don’t remember anything from last night?” She asked then as she pulled on the button up tunic over the tank top. It wasn’t the most flattering look, but the material hugged her body well. It was clearly cut for a woman. She then slipped her legs from the pajama bottoms and pulled on a pair of black trousers, it wasn’t her normal attire, but it would do. She slipped on a pair of boots that were sitting next to the dresser...it was convenient that everything seemed to be her size. As if the pack had planned to have her here. “Okay...” She spoke as she looked to Henry. “Let’s get your weapons back and get this over with...hm?” Her jaw was still tight. The frustration showed on her expression.

When Adelaide stated that it had been her that disarmed him he felt better. At least someone else hadn't been able to search his person and pull the weapons from him. He trusted Adelaide and he knew that was why she had been able to remove them. Otherwise, even in a drunken state, he might have tried to kill her instead of simply laying in bed and making the task easy.
"Adelaide.." He started to say just as Vivian swept into the room. His own jaw set as he looked at the woman with contempt. He wasn't a fan of these games and it showed in is expression. When she taunted him, spoke of the lycan girl who had followed him into the room, he recalled the vaguest of memories of someone touching him. It was fuzzy and incomplete but he did remember pushing them away.
"Witch.." Henry hissed as Vivian left the room and gave a low growl before turning his attention back to Adelaide. "I'm not sure. I can't recall almost anything. Someone came down here with me. I thought it was you at first but when I realized it wasn't I shoved them off." He sighed and rubbed the back of his head as he knew it didn't paint a better picture of the situation. "At least.. when you came in you said I still had my weapons and you took them off? They didn't get far then. Weapons are always the first things to go if.. well if I actually trust someone." He shook his head then walked to Adelaide and placed a hand on either side of her face as his thumbs stroked her cheeks while he looked into her eyes. "You know you're probably the first woman who had actually been able to disarm me. Regardless of the circumstances. I don't part with my weapons easily." He smiled and kissed her forehead. "Now let's go intimidate us a warlock, hmm?"

Adelaide watched Henry as she heard the growl come over his lips. She crossed her arms over her chest as she looked to him. His words weren’t helpful at all. He said he shoved the woman off of him, but he also said he thought that she was Adelaide. She frowned slightly and lowered her eyes. Though when he spoke of trust she gazed back to him, her expression curious. She leaned into his touch and closed her eyes slightly as she drew in a breath. Her eyes locked on his as he spoke the next words. She watched him a moment before she wrapped her arms around him and hugged herself to him. “You’re the only vampire I’ve ever trusted, besides Fran.” She let out a soft laugh. “If you keep talking like that to me you’re going to make me thing I’m special.” She gazed up to him as she released him and took a step back. “I...” She drew in a breath. Love. She remembered his words once again. Was that what this was? She bit her lip slightly and shook her head. “You’ll have to forgive me….” She then gave a sheepish smile. “I’m going to try to ignore anything that Vivian says but...” She looked to him a long moment. “I’ve never felt….jealous before.” She bit her lip and shook her head. “I suppose...that makes you special too….huh?” She cupped his cheek and gazed into his eyes. “Let’s go make that Warlock wish he hadn’t experimented on me.” She kissed his cheek before she turned and walked from the room.
Adelaide led him up the stairs where the pack seemed to be waiting for the two. Vivian sat in her chair as she did the night before. The eyes of the pack were upon Adelaide and Henry as they stepped into the room. “Ah, took you long enough.” Vivian spoke, which caused several snickers to come from the others. “We’re going to head out.” Vivian stood. “What do you recommend as the best means of attack on this Warlock, Henry?” Vivian turned her eyes from Adelaide. “Two groups? Hm? Giving him more of a surprise? Or shall we use Adelaide here as bait?” A smirk curved up her lips.
Adelaide drew her brows together slightly, she crossed her arms over her chest. Her eyes moved then to look to Oliver whom had a smile upon his lips as he gazed back to her. It seemed as though his attention never left her. “We need our weapons.” She spoke up, her voice cross.
Vivian raised a brow slightly, “Your weapons?” She questioned and then chuckled. “Oh. Minor detail.” She stepped forward to the two. “You want those knives back?” She asked and then smirked. “Show me that I can trust you. I wouldn’t want a knife in my back, would I dear?” She smiled then. “It’s fair. Take me to the warlock. Get my daughter back.” She never took her eyes from Henry.
“How are we supposed to do that without weapons?” Adelaide growled.
Vivian chuckled then, “Dear girl.” She turned to her. “You don’t need weapons anymore now that you’ve been gifted with our blood.” She smirked before she looked back to Henry. “I just need to know the best way to get in and get my daughter out.”

Henry couldn't help but chuckle when Adelaide mentioned her being jealous. By the time they got upstairs though all traces of a smile were gone from his expression. Henry's patience was gone. Already worn wire-thin by the games and manipulations put on by the pack around them. The way they looked down on him was infuriating and now they had stolen from him as well and were still making demands.
Vampires were inherently faster than lycans, at least right out of the gate, so when Henry suddenly moved across the room and appeared before Vivian's chair with his hand around her throat and pressing her back the rest of the pack couldn't get between him and her fast enough and with the grip he held on her throat they were unable to rip him away either without causing lethal damage to their alpha. "You're going to listen to me." He said with a snarl as several pack members dug their claws into his flesh but he seemed unphased by it. "You're going to give me my weapons back. My pistol, my knives, and whatever else Adelaide wants. Call of your dogs, Vivian, if you were going to kill me you would have done it by now." He leaned in closer to the alpha. "You're in no position to play these games. You need me to get your daughter back. Brute strength and all your cunning, or lack there of, is not enough to get the task done else you would have done it already. Kill me, or harm Adelaide and your daughter is as good as dead, understood?" He growled again to punctuate his statements.
Vivian's smile had disappeared for a moment, but it returned as Henry spoke and she placed a gentle hand upon his forearm to the hand around her neck. "Well played." She commented and then looked to one of the members holding onto Henry and nodded. It took a moment but they eventually let go of Henry and he released his hold on Vivian's neck. "Very well, Henry. You will get your weapons back and will be joining us on this little excursion. Would this be acceptable?"
"Perfect." Henry replied and took his weapons from the pack members as they were handed back to him. The entire ordeal had Oliver looked very displeased. A contrast to his usual smug smile.

“Henry wait!” Adelaide had rushed forward, but she was grabbed from behind by the pack. Her arms held on either side. She struggled against them, her eyes turned golden, her jaw popped slightly as her body threatened to change. The adrenaline that rushed through her veins was enough to initiate her transformation. But something stopped it. Adelaide took in quick breaths as she stared to Henry. She watched as he got through to the alpha, her expression displeased. She ripped her arms away from the pack members and growled slightly as she glared to them. “Let’s go then. We’re wasting time playing your games, Vivian.” Adelaide spoke as she walked toward the door.
The pack made their way through the forest. Adelaide glanced to Henry for direction every now and again as they rushed along. It didn’t take much time for them to reach William’s home. Adelaide held her hand up and she looked to the pack. “Henry.” She spoke as she looked to him. “Let’s see if we can get inside. We talked about this….remember?” She drew in a breath. “If we aren’t smart about this...it may end horribly for your daughter, Vivian.” She shot a glance to the alpha whom only nodded.
“Henry and I will make contact with William, the warlock...if things go wrong...you’ll know...then you rush the home.” She spoke. “But not a moment before.” She turned and then walked from the forest. She bit her lip slightly as she walked toward the old mansion. “What’s the best way to approach him, Henry?” She asked as she walked through the field.

Henry knew the way like the back of his hand and when they arrived he found he wasn't looking forward to meeting with the warlock anymore than possibly having to go back to the cabin with the pack. When they were walking up the cobbled pathway to the front door of the mansion Henry sighed and looked to Adelaide with a sort of sheepish grin. "Honestly, it's best you talk to him and ask to get another injection. Treat me as if you're angry with me for how I had mistreated him and I'll do my best to act like the subservient one." He didn't think it was a good idea for Henry to approach with a strong attitude. William was more likely to send them away, but if he thought Henry had been whipped by a woman.. well that changed things.
"Adelaide.." he stopped her just before she knocked. "If things go south in a hurry.. get yourself out of here. Promise me this, Adelaide. Do not stick around to try and save anyone - even me."

Adelaide glanced to Henry as they approached the home. She gave a slight nod. As she was about to knock she paused and looked to him. What he was asking her to do...she wasn’t sure she could do it. To run away and leave him to die. “I promise.” She nodded then, though it was a lie. She couldn’t leave him. She wouldn’t. She turned her eyes back forward and then lifted the knocker on the door and let it drop a few times. The sound reverberated through the old dusty home. Adelaide took in a breath as she listened to the footsteps that approached the door.
The door opened and William stood in his nice tunic, his hair combed neatly. Just as she remembered him. Though he drew his brows together as his eyes fell upon Henry. “What do you want?” He asked, the question posed to Henry.
Adelaide cleared her throat, “I’m right here.” She waved her hand in front of his eyes. “I’m the one here to see you, William.” She watched the surprise roll over his expression. “I’m feeling a bit drained after the full moon last night...you said to come back for another injection if I felt weak? Henry didn’t want to come.” She rolled her eyes and then looked to Henry. “But what does he know?” She then gave a laugh. “He isn’t a warlock. Oh and….my apologies for the way he acted. I can promise he won’t be doing anything like that again.” She gave a smile then.
William’s jaw loosened as he listened to her speak. He looked to Henry a few times as a smirk appeared on his lips. “Well. Come on in then. We can’t have you feeling weak, Adelaide.” He held is arm out. His eyes looked to Henry once again as he drew his brows together. “You.” He spoke and placed his hand on his chest. “I’ll be needing payment for the damages you caused.” He growled slightly. “The nerve.” He turned and walked into his home. It had been picked up, but the walls weren’t quite repaired yet. It appeared William was working on it though.
“Of course. We will pay for any damages William. Again, my apologies for Henry. He has a bit of a temper sometimes. But, that’s under control now. You see?” She smiled and then kissed Henry’s cheek. “He’s to be my husband. Isn’t that lovely?” She asked as she looked to William once again.
William watched her and a bit of a smile turned up his lips. “Well now. Seems to be a good change for him.” He spoke as he walked to the basement door and unlocked it. “If you wouldn’t mind Adelaide, come with me.” He spoke as he opened the door. “You can stay up here.” He spoke before he motioned for Adelaide to walk down the stairs.
“I’ll be right back dear.” She spoke as she walked down the staircase.
William grinned then as a chuckle came over his lips. “Don’t try anything stupid, Henry. My gargoyle is just in the other room and he won’t hesitate to squish you like a bug.” He snapped before he walked down the stairs.
Adelaide rushed over to the cage that the young lycan was in. “I’m going to get you out.” She spoke and gave a quick nod. She stepped back from the cage as she listened to the footsteps coming down the staircase.
William walked over to her and gave a smile. “Would you mind sitting there?” He pointed to a chair that looked almost as if it belonged in a dentists office, though it held straps upon the arms and legs. “Make yourself comfortable.” He spoke as he walked over and opened the refrigerator to pull out a vial. “So...did anything happen last night with the moon?” He asked curiously.
Adelaide bit her lip slightly as she sat down in the chair. She kept her arms in her lap though. “What do you mean?” She asked with a raised brow.
“Did you feel different?” He asked as he drew up an injection.
Adelaide shook her head, “No. Not really. It was a beautiful moon though..I just woke up tired this morning.” She shrugged slightly.
William stepped forward and set the injection down on the side tray. “Hm. Interesting.” He nodded slightly. He then leaned the chair back, the cuffs clicked around her ankles.
“What are you doing?” Adelaide questioned. She had planned on attacking him just before her injected her. This...wasn’t going as planned.
“Just a precaution.” The warlock spoke with a chuckle. He looked to her a moment. “Relax.” He spoke with a smile. “It’ll make you stronger.” He reached for her arm and she pulled it away.
“Henry!” She cried. “You don’t need to tie me down.” She snapped as she tried to wiggle her legs from the metal cuffs.
William growled slightly as he grabbed her arm and fastened a cuff around it. “If you don’t want to follow the rules, Adelaide...you shouldn’t have come.” He snickered. “You’re an experiment….don’t you get it?” He raised a brow as he forced her other arm into the restraint. He lifted the needle then and lined up with her arm to inject her. “Just a pinch.” He spoke before he pushed the needle into her skin and pressed the concoction into her vein. This caused Adelaide to scream as fire rushed through her body. Her bones began to pop and her jaw tightened as her body began to transform once again. William grinned as he stepped back. “Yes….this...is it...” He watched in awe, completely distracted.

Adelaide played her part well, perhaps a bit too well, but that was the point wasn't it? Henry crossed his arms over his chest and only offered William a slightly sarcastic smile as Adelaide spoke for the both of them. It was probably for the best anyway. Henry still wanted to tear the warlock's head off at this point and he would have had a hard time not letting that show in his tone. Just as suspected though William was amused by Henry's apparent leashing and they were both allowed inside.
When William told Henry of the gargoyle he nodded and rolled his eyes. As far William knew he was going to behave perfectly. Though as soon as the door leading downstairs closed Henry began to feel quite anxious. When he heard the feint, muffled scream from below he immediately ran to the front door, ripped it open and gave a long loud whistle to signal the pack. The gargoyle was quick to respond, just as William promised, and Henry managed to dodge its initial attack and it was sent crashing through the front door and out into the courtyard.
Given a moment Henry ran back to the door that lead downstairs and ripped it from its hinges before practically flying down the steps. "Now, you die!" Henry yelled and barreled into William's side, slamming him into the wall. "I've wanted to do this for a long time!" Henry stated and leaned into bite into William's neck but before he could William stuck something in Henry's side which sent a wave of pain through his body. A blue vial, unlike the red that had been injected into Adelaide. Henry groaned but still managed to sink his teeth into William's neck and essentially ripped his jugular before turning back to Adelaide and ripping one of the wrist restraints off of the chair.

Adelaide screamed in pain as the injection rushed through her veins. Everything was a blur as Henry barreled into the room. As soon as her hand was free from the cuff she quickly unlocked her other wrist and she bent down to her legs to unlock her legs. She stumbled and took in quick breaths as she gripped onto the cage that Lily was locked inside. She gripped onto the lock as her body felt as though it was lighting aflame. Her fingers curled around the lock and she snapped it from the hinge. Adelaide then stumbled to Henry and gripped onto him. “Henry...” She breathed, she was fighting against the change. Her fingernails were claw like, her fangs had enlarged. The golden color of her eyes seemed to glow in the dark. “Henry...are you alright?” She asked as she glanced to William whom lay upon the floor choking and gurgling on his own blood.
**
The pack had heeded the call of Henry. They rushed forward and the Gargoyle had his hands busy. As soon as he swatted one of the wolves away another would jump him. He was pushed along by the pack that nipped at him and broke his stoney flesh. Blood began to pour from the creature as the pack picked away at him. Vivian howled as she commanded the pack, she was a beautiful red wolf. The only member of the pack that did not strike.
**
Footsteps rushed down the stairs into the basement. “Lily!” Oliver rushed across the room, a few other pack members had come with him.
His sister had climbed from the confinement of the cage and she wrapped her arms around him, tears streaming down her cheeks. “Oliver...” She breathed, her body trembled. She had track marks up and down her arms from William drawing blood from her.
“Come on. We need to go.” Oliver tugged at her.
“No...wait...” Lily turned and knelt next to Adelaide and Henry. She grasped the needle that William still had in his hand. She looked to the liquid inside the casing and drew her brows together. “This...isn’t good...” She spoke and then looked to her brother. She heard the pack howling happily from above from their apparent kill.
Oliver held his hand out. “Adelaide. Henry. Come on.” He nodded. “We need to go. Lily.” He looked to her. “Come on.” He glanced about the room to the others that were caged.
Lily pulled keys from William’s pocket and was walking to each cage to release the creatures from within. Some scurried up the stairs, others looked to the open door of the cage in a confused manner.
Adelaide picked up the injection from the floor. “What is this?” She asked. “Did...” She searched over Henry and found a spot of blood on his side. “He...” Her chest felt heavy. Her bones continued to crackle within her body. She was doing well to suppress the beast within her, but it wouldn’t be long before she changed.

Henry felt like William had poured knives into his blood stream. Even without a heart beat the affect spread quickly. "Damnit.. damnit.." he cursed as he grit through the pain and got back on his feet from kneeling next to the chair that Adelaide had been strapped to. "I'm fine." He said through his teeth and ushered Adelaide to follow after Oliver, Lily and the others up and out of the basement. There could be more creatures waiting within the mansion and Henry didn't want to be around when they figure out their master was dead.
William and his damned needles. He so loved sticking things with needles that it had been the last act the warlock ever committed. Henry had no idea what was coursing through his veins now but he knew it was most likely not a good thing. "Adelaide.. you're changing." Henry said to her as they climbed the stairs.
When they reached the top Henry felt someone grab onto him and lift his arm over their shoulder. One of the pack members had come to help him as his legs began to fail beneath him. "We got him. He wont die here if we have anything to say about it." The man promised Adelaide and began to haul Henry outside so they could leave the cursed place behind.

Adelaide grit her teeth as she grasped onto Henry’s arm. “Stay with me.” She could see the pain in his eyes. Though a whimper came over her lips as she continued to try to suppress the change. When the pack member approached the world had already begun to spin for Adelaide.
She watched as another member wrapped Henry’s other arm around her neck. “Oliver. Watch her.” The woman ordered as she pointed to Adelaide whom had fallen to her knees as pain coursed through her body.
“Shit.” Oliver cursed as he knelt before her. “Hey look at me.” He grasped her head and gazed into her eyes. “Just breathe. Stop fighting this. Just relax. You’re causing yourself pain.” He spoke in a calm manner. “Just get him to the cabin.” He waved to the others.
“Hen….ry...” Adelaide had tears rolling down her cheeks. She gripped onto Oliver’s arms. “Let...me go...” Her voice was a growl as her body began to transform. “I...need...”
“Shhhh….it’s alright, just breathe through it.” Oliver ran his fingers through her hair. “Just relax.” He watched as her body changed, Adelaide cried out in pain as she turned to her wolf form. “There.” Oliver smiled softly. Though he frowned when she snarled and snapped her jaws at his hand that touched her. She then quickly took off behind the two pack members that ran off with Henry. “Lily come on.” Oliver groaned as he ran behind after Adelaide, he leaped into the air and in that swift moment he transformed into a beautiful black wolf. He was hot on her trail as they rushed through the forest back toward the cabin.
Lily trembled as she watched her brother run off. “I...can’t...” She whispered softly. She ran behind the pack. Though...she wasn’t nearly as quick. Soon enough she was scooped up by a fellow pack member, tears streamed down her cheeks. She couldn’t transform. William had caused that...he’d taken her wolf form from her...somehow.
