Under the grand Moon Tree - the huge roots spread outward, which allowing for a shallow cavern beneath it. In the dead center was a beautiful pool - where two glowing coy fish swam in the milky glowing substance. About the pool were large rocks, carvings and engravings of Ancient Elven scriptures and words... at the base of the pool were two flat rocks, for one to sit upon. She knelt before the Moon Well and placed her hands just before the water, hovering over the magical substance. She took in a deep breath, her body relaxed - meditating.
Behind her was Akomi, laying down patiently - his glowing green eyes watched the world about her. He had a short grey fir, and a sort of lion-like mane, which was a mixture of black and grey. Weaved within his mane was occasionally a leaf or vine... On each shoulder was a white half moon, and from his legs were white runic lines that faded into his fur about his hips... Two green lines sliced down his eyes, a reminder of his jungle roots, but otherwise he was blessed by the moon... He perked his head up slightly, his eyes looking to a woman who approached.
"Mya" A soft voice came from her. She wore all white silky robes, which seem to glow slightly.
"Mother" Mya stood and turned to her. Akomi stood and approached Tyrande, his head nuzzling into her hand. Tyrande smiled and knelt down, her dress pooling about on the stone ground, she scratched under Akomi's chin - which then he purred loudly, nuzzling harder.
"You are going to Alda, correct?" Tyrande stood and smiled... The two were practically identical, except Mya had leaves, and an occasional feather - weaved through her hair, and more dangling talismans, which was typical of a druid...
"Yes, I must continue the ritual and ensure the connection of the Life tree is aligned with the realms..." she nodded.
"Very well... Travel safe my dear, May Elune watch over you" Tyrande leaned in and kissed Mya's cheek.
"Of course - the Earth Mother watches you, mother..." Mya bowed her head. She had been waiting for Tyrande, she always made sure to say goodbye, for you never knew if that would be the last.
"Akomi - lets go" Mya spoke, the huge panther stepped over and nodded slightly, some how magically he grew a big bigger - large enough to mount easily. Mya climbed onto him and weaved her fingers into his short mane, and he began forward. They made their way through the city, passing by people - who cleared the way. This tree was in the base of 3 cliffs, a huge waterfall coming from one, which encompassed them in water and streams. There were bridges to small islands, where more homes were built upon, but otherwise they seemed quite cozy, as the huge tree shot far above the cliffs - the branches and leaves covering the earth with it's canopy, blocking the sun. It always seemed night time there, the tree glowing a gentle white hue, that much of the moon itself...
Once they climbed the huge stairs to the top, they traversed through the thick forests, until they broke out into the long fields of flowers and rolling hills. Akomi was quite fast, his stride was large - but he was smooth, it was a comfortable ride for Mya. They made amazing time, and only stopped once to rest, which was amongst the next forest, which is where she always felt most comfortable. As they rest - she lit a small fire, and ate her rations, Komi sat - listening, watching, smelling. She never had to focus too dearly on being alert, as he did the job for her, always protecting her... She often couldn't comprehend a life without her panther friend...
They mounted back up early in the morning, while the moon was still high - they climbed over a large hill - and she could see Alda. "Almost there..." she whispered to Akomi. The Tree of Life - which stretched the highest in the sky, it resembled more of a oak tree style. The branches spoked out high and far, where as the Moon Tree was more a jungle tree, spanning farther, but thinner...
She was aw-struck momentarily as the sun peaked over the horizon, lighting the tree with its mighty power. The tree seem to suddenly light up - glowing with strength and power. It was clear the polarity between the High Elves and the Night Elfs, these were ones of the sun - and holy light, while her kind lingered with the moon, and shadows of the night...
They climbed down the mountain easily. They approached the huge city, which was crammed full of beautiful glorious homes and buildings, architectures of stone, chiseled with perfection. She couldn't imagine the amount of time it took for all of these homes to be built, but there was not a single detail left out... It had been some time since she last visited Alda... While her allegiance to the Circle kept her safe, a Night Elf amongst these crowds was not always favorable. A peace was struck, yes, but a distaste for Night Elves was strong...
She climbed from Akomi, who in response shrunk to nearly half the size, now easily the same size as a dog, to be discrete... She kept her eyes away from the gazes.. she could hear them speaking in their own dialect, one she didn't understand, disgust clearly in their voice. Even one person spit at her, which she ignored as it landed on her shoulders...
Mya approached the first root of the world tree, which was enclosed by a building - guards standing about it. "What do you want, Night Elf?" the guard spoke to her. He had beautiful fine skin, which seemed radiant and glowing. He wore red and golden armor, with a huge long shield that touched the ground, and came all the way to his face, in his hand was a duel blade, where the hilt was in the center of the blade...
"I am Mya Stormrage, here to perform the Ritual of the Dream..." She spoke, her voice was soft and silky, much different than the aggressive royal tone of the guard...
The Guard scoffed and then nodded. "Very well..." he opened the door and allowed her in.
The Life Well was a glowing pool of yellow and orange colors, it lit the entire room - which was beautifully decorated with benches and statues, on either side of the well. She stepped forward to it and looked to Akomi, who had followed her in. He sat on his rump, and looked about. Guards stood inside, watching her closely...
Mya cleared her throat and then knelt at the shimmering golden waters. It was a perfectly round pool, the water even with the floor... It swirled slowly in a circle... She pulled her staff from her back and held it forward. She slowly dipped the glowing end into the waters. The circle of power in the center of the staff began to glow a bright golden yellow, and then she held it forward.
From the glowing power a beam shot upward into the base of the tree. Her white glowing eyes suddenly changed to yellow and she drew in a deep breath - beginning the ritual, ensuring the connection of the well was strong with the tree, and strong with the Dream.
It was then that Akomi shifted, standing upward - he growling slightly, his nose twitching...

The city of Alda, as beautiful as always. The sun stretched across the city, casting golden hues as it rose into the skies. A woman stood on the balcony of a beautiful mansion, her golden green eyes looked out over the land. The city was beginning to wake. Her eye lashes even held a tint of gold as she glanced over her shoulder to the sound of footsteps approaching. "Elias." She spoke, her eyes moved to a letter the man held in his hands.
"Kalise." The man spoke. He wore a fine tunic and tight black pants, a sword at his side. "I have urgent business for you to attend to." He held the letter forward. "The Division has been called upon by the high elves of Thrandor. We must be descrete, but the pay is rather generous."
Kalise cleared her throat slightly, a brow raised. "The high elves, ask of our help?" She scoffed slightly and rolled her eyes. "They just don't want to soil their hands." She pulled the letter from the beautiful envelope. The entire letter was written in Elvish, one of the many languages that Kalise had learned as a member of the Division De Draconique. She drew her brows together. "A Night Elf, here?" She looked up to Elias. "Not many Night Elves would even dare set foot in this city, even with the peace treaty between the two...it's just unheard of."
Elias returned a nod, "Yes, I said much the same myself. Our scouts have spotted her upon a large beast headed toward the city. What the letter says is true, a night elf will be in our city before noon."
Kalise took in a breath as she looked over the words again. Ruthless. Kill. No mercy. Those were words used in this letter. She tilted her head slightly. "I understand the distaste that the High Elves have for the Night Elves, but that is a centuries old war and our queen has come to peace with them. What is it that the Master of Thrandor wants from this kill?"
Elias watched her he tilted his head slightly and then chuckled. "Does it really matter at the end of the day, Kalise? We kill our target, they give us money...what concerns you?" He searched her eyes.
Kalise thought for a moment as she slowly folded the letter. She turned and looked out over the city as the crowds began to head to the shops for the day. "Of course, you're right, Elias. Perhapse I have grown soft?" She smirked. "If a kill is what they want, a kill is what Master Orion shall have, I'm certain that the Night Elves did something to his people during the wars." Her eyes moved swiftly then edging through the crowd. She could see the druid. Kalise tilted her head slightly, "Time to get to work, hm?" She glanced to Elias. She stepped inside and quickly slipped from her dress behind the dressing shade. She pulled on her leathers. and fastened down her metal armor. She wore the two daggers on her thighs, the sheath ran the length of her thighs the hilt reached up to her hip. She stepped out as she grabbed a metal mask from the shelf. "This may be the quickest turn around we've had yet. Hm?" She chuckled as she pulled the mask on and raised her hood.
"Do be careful." Elias spoke.
"I expect a fully rounded breakfast upon my return." Kalise grinned before she sprinted and leaped from the balcony. As she leaped into the air she suddenly vanished. She appeared on the rooftops across the street. She ran along, her eyes searching for the woman within the crowd. She saw an elf spit upon her. "Well, if you were looking for a warm welcome you've come to the wrong city." Kalise muttered as she crouched and watched Mya speak to the guard. "Ah, a challenge at least." She spoke as she leaped from the rooftop. She disappeared once again and lifted her mask from her face. She clipped it to her hip as she lowered her hood. She smiled to the guard as she approached him. "What's that Night Elf doing here?" She asked curiously. "You let her into the pools? She'll corrupt it." She scoffed, though her voice was quite playful, she enjoyed the games.
The guard looked to her his brows drew together. "I don't like it either." He replied. "She's a druid, so we have no choice but to let her kind into our city."
"Ah I see." Kalise spoke, "Thanks!" She smiled and then stepped away, disappearing into the crowd. "Druid...huh..." She muttered to herself. "Interesting." She pulled her mask from her hip and raised her hood just before she disappeared and appeared on the rooftops again. Kalise looked across the street to the guard whom stood in front of the entrance. "Easy enough." She spoke as she teleported to the roof of the building. "What are you doing Night Elf..." She muttered. "What has Master Orion so keen on killing you? Or is it just the family ties? Hm..." She shrugged as she dropped down behind the building. She pushed a window open, "Ah making this a bit easy are we?" She chuckled. "Just because the window is three stories up, doesn't mean someone can't get to it." She slipped inside silently then suddenly she became completely invisible.
Kalise moved through the building, there were 6 guards watching the woman closely. 6 Guards that stood in her way truthfully. She walked down the stairs slowly, crouched, invisible. She watched the druid draw the power and shoot the beam up into the tree. It was then that the panther growled. A smile split her lips. It could sense her. Smell her. Kalise moved about the room, the guards began to drop....one by one...unconscious....she easily elbowed them in the side of the head and after less than thirty seconds they all lay on the floor.
Kalise pulled her daggers, she looked to the huge panther a moment her head tilted. "So, Dark Elf....druid...what is it that you've done to piss off Thrandor?" She questioned, though still invisible. "Or was it your father? Perhapse your mother?" Kalise moved about the room as she spoke, her voice coming from different angles. She suddenly appeared standing right in front of Mya, her blade to her throat. "Maybe the answer doesn't matter?" She questioned, her voice was distorted by the mask giving it a metallic tone. Her other blade was aimed toward Akomi. She was skilled, analyzing every movement...

Mya gripped her staff with both hands, the sudden yellow color of the pool turned black. She grit her teeth and the power fought against her. Some one had corrupted the tree, they were training the power from the tree. The color of the pool was a shade of magic, an illusion… Suddenly the entire tree went from a glowing yellow – lively tree, to a leaf-less, dying tree. It wasn’t gone yet, but it wasn’t going to last much longer… she could tell.
Suddenly she felt a blade to her neck. She wasn’t paying attention In the midst of the commotion – she was focused on the tree. Mya grit her teeth – but she didn’t move, she didn’t budge her staff. “You don’t want to harm me” she spoke, ignoring the blade – just as it nicked her throat. “Not at this second… I must complete the ritual the Tree of Life’s connection will be lost, and whatever…who ever tainted this tree – will destroy all that remains of the Life Well” she grit her teeth even more. “I must focus” the power was seeping into her, she couldn’t concentrate. Her blue tinted skin was becoming riddled with black lines, the corruption of the tree seeping into her.
Akomi growled, ready to pounce on Mya’s command…. He wanted to so badly, but he knew the situation was dire.
“Maybe who ever has ordered you to kill me is afraid of what I might discover” she spoke through her teeth. Suddenly there was a burst of yellow light, she completed the ritual. Binding the Well to the Tree, the Tree to the Dreams.
Mya stumbled back and fell to the ground, her staff clattered to the ground. It was corrupted – the entire staff was covered in black color… She scrambled over and lifted it. “No..” she whispered and shook her head. “I fear for the worst…” she shook her head. “You wish to kill me? You’ll be killing all of your people too – this entire city, your Tree of Life – the haven of your people. Think before you battle me – for I know I am no match for you…” she shook her head. “Make a decision – now” she spoke through the grit of her teeth… her glowing white eyes stared to the Assassin, though it seemed she cared not for her life… more so for the wilting tree before her… the swirling mass of sludge that remained of their Life pool.
“The tree – it has been weaker hasn’t it? Your powers lack luster? How long – how long as this been going on?” she shook her head “a great illusion was cast over it, some one has corrupted it, draining it of all of it’s forces… I must enter the dream and retrieve the seed of the World Tree, this is the only way to cleanse it..” she spoke aloud, eyes watching the Assassin – glancing to the blades in her hand….

Kalise watched as the pool turned to black sludge. The tree wilted. Her eyes widened beneath the mask. All the while she didn't lower her blade. She listened to the druid. "What if you're the one who has caused this corruption?" She questioned. "If I have been sent to end your life, maybe they knew you would bring this upon us?" She didn't move as she watched the druid fall to the ground. She stared to the staff that was encompassed in darkness. She'd drawn some of the corruption into the staff...what she was saying...it could be true.
Kalise shifted slightly, confliction raced through her mind. Her blades were still raised, ready to attack. She grit her teeth, what the druid said about the force of the tree, it had been weaker in the past two months. Before she could respond the door to the room burst open. Kalise turned her eyes taking in the sight as guards stormed the room. She glanced back to the druid, "The king will not take kindly to this, be it your doing or not. It will fall on your hands." Kalise suddenly vanished. She teleported into the rafters of the room, her eyes looking down over the druid and her panther.
"How dare you!" The angry voice of King Marikoth boomed into the room. He walked in as his guards rushed around him, they would easily take down the druid. "You come into my city claiming to be here to perform the cleanse and this is what you do?! You've spread corruption into our life well! Into our tree! It wilts to your very presence! All Night Elves are filthy scum! Whatever my wife sees in your people I will never understand." His voice was full of fury. "Take her!" He ordered. Guards rushed forward, slapping shackles upon her. They tossed a metal net over the panter and easily wrapped him up. "You will wilt just as you have wilted our tree, Night Elf." Marikoth growled as he stood before her. "You will suffer for what you've done." Marikoth stared into her eyes, his own eyes were a dark golden green, a familiar color to Kalise. "Take her to the pit, I'll have my words with her soon enough." He ordered before he rushed from the room.
Kalise watched her jaw slightly loose. Someone whom aimed to corrupt the wells of The Tree of Life would have put up a fight. This druid, this Night Elf didn't seem to fight at all. Not even against her. She took in a deep breath. Things were not lining up. Something didn't feel right about this. She watched as the druid was taken from the room in chains and shackles. The pit. She knew it well. She'd assassinated a few targets within the walls of the tomb that the high elves called the pit. She vanished and appeared back in the mansion in the kitchen. She glanced around as she lowered her hood, she pulled her mask from her face. "I could have sworn I requested breakfast." She chuckled and shook her head. "Ah well." She pulled a muffin from the cabinet and began munching on it as she made her way through the home.
"The deed is done? So quickly? Did the Night Elf even put up a fight?" Elias questioned as he looked up from his desk.
"Not quite." Kalise took another bite, she held her finger up as she swallowed. "Take a look." She pointed to the window. "Look at our tree..."
Elias turned and stood as his eyes fell upon the wilted tree, it looked much more like a weeping willow now, rather than the vibrant oak that it was. "Oh..." He gasped slightly. "Did that elf do this?" He questioned his eyes looking over the tree.
"Yes....and no..." Kalise finished off the muffin. "I need to investigate. I told you, something was odd about Master Orion ordering such an assasination. Something doesn't line up. She claims that the tree was under an illusion, that it will die without her help...if she is telling the truth the city of Alda is in grave danger, our home is threatened. The power that courses through my veins..." She took in a breath. "You've felt it just as I have, the tree has weakened. The power has grown dull."
Elias crossed his arms. "What are you proposing?" He questioned. "We have an order."
"We act as our own unit, there is no such thing as an order from an outsider, Elias. You know that just as I do. No sum of money will make me kill an innocent." She shook her head. Kalise turned, "When the sun goes down and the guards thin out, I'll go to her, I want to question her myself. If she is here to save our tree, we cannot let King Marikoth kill her, he will be killing his own people. The high elves here thrive on the power of the tree, without it..." She shook her head. "I am as much a part of the tree as they are." She searched Elias' eyes.
Elias drew in a slow breath and nodded. "If it turns out that this Night Elf is telling the truth...we seem to have something bigger on our hands..."
"I will cross that bridge when it comes." Kalise responded. "Until then." She smiled, "No need to fret, allow Master Orion to think I am on the tail of the mark if he sends a letter tell him I am hard at work." She then disappeared from the room. Kalise sat down in her own study. She took in a deep breath. "Corruption..." She shook her head. "Why...?" She stood and paced slightly. She began pulling books from the shelves, searching through them one by one. She spent the day searching for answers which she did not have. She'd gone to the library but nothing quite turned up except that druids were the tenders to the trees of the world. That without the druids the trees wouldn't stand a chance.
Kalise leaped into the air and disappeared teleporting to the rooftops as the sun set over the horizon. She stared up to the palace that sat nestled next to the base of the tree. She took in a breath as she pushed forward. She needed the answer. If Mya was the answer to stopping the corruption...she had to pull her from the pit...
Kalise leaped to the top of the walls that surrounded the castle, she faded away, falling invisible as she slipped through the gardens. She wound around until finally she stood on a grate, she stared down into the shadowy tomb....this was the pit. It was a catacomb of jail cells. Kalise closed her eyes and in an instant she was on the ground 100 feet below the surface. She raised a brow as she listened. Not many were stored in the pits, it was a death sentence. Those who entered did not return. Kalise held her hand out and a small green orb appeared lighting her path as she wound through the halls. She snuffed it out when she saw the flicker of a torch ahead of her. She could hear the deep breaths of the panther and the smaller breaths of the druid. She came around the corner and easily knocked the single guard out, he fell to the ground, his armor clattering as he fell. She then appeared within the cell. She sat on the bench looking to Mya, her mask blocking her face. She didn't have her blades drawn.
"Nice new home you've found yourself." She spoke a chuckle behind her words. "The king isn't going to let you out of here alive, no one returns from the pits alive..." Kalise stood and stepped to Mya searching her eyes from behind the mask. "So tell me, druid...how did the corruption happen right beneath the king's nose? His men keep log of everyone in and out of the pools...so tell me how....how before you was it corrupted? I felt the power loss..." She crossed her arms then, "I want to believe you." She spoke, she glanced to the panther a moment before she looked back to the Night Elf. "If I am to believe you, then you shouldn't rot in the pits, you shouldn't be here at all, you belong at the pools." She tilted her head. "Tending to the life tree as well as the other trees." She shifted her weight. "So, tell me how, druid." Her voice wasn't as agressive as it had been before, it was more curious and perplexed.

Mya turned her head sharply as the doors slammed open. A deep darkness swelled in her chest, her eyes glanced back to the tree. She shut her eyes and held her arms outward – she knew she could not argue, or fight. Their foolishness would be the death of their tree… She was lifted upward and shoved forward, her eyes staring to the guards. “You are making a grave mistake…” she spoke as she was pushed past the King. “Please, investigate before making your decision. I am a daughter of Malfurion, the Cenerian Circle means you no harm. You kill me – and your tree will be gone forever, no druid will help you, even you believe I corrupted it…” she shook her head and then was pushed forward.
They lead her down into the darkness of the chambers and tossed her, and her panther into the cage. “Don’t expect any food, we’re hopin your own cat eats you in hunger…” the guard laughed and the door locked into place. His footsteps clinking on the floor as he stepped away.
The room was darkness… only her glowing white eyes filled it. However, being a Night Elf meant night vision – supplied by the light of her eyes. She could see clearly in the room, though the world had a slightly white haze… She crossed her legs and sat in the center of the room, meditating to herself. Meanwhile her panther lay next to her, about his neck was a chain that was hooked to the wall…
A shimmering figure appeared before her… it was a bulky figure – Half Stag, Half Night Elf. He had long thick hair which had brambles of tree and leaves weaved through it. He had two huge moose-like antlers which had trinkets hanging from twisted threads off of it… An image of Cenarius.
“You called to me?” He questioned, his two arms were huge and powerful – but his hands turned into long pointed roots – each finger a separate root…
“Yes… Cenarius, I may need your blessing. The Tree of Life is threatened and the High Elves believe I caused the corruption…” she spoke, looking up to him.
Cenarius moved slightly, the sound of moving tree – like branches cracking slightly, filled the silent room. “Foolish creatures…” he spoke, his voice deep and rumbly, he hummed slightly, thinking. “Very well, I will bless your soul. Should you perish, you will join me in the dream…”
“Will I return to the mortal realm?” she questioned softly – her expression was gentle, and slightly sad.
“Malfurion can use a seed of the World Tree… do not fret young one…” he then held his hands upward and cast a glowing spell.
Mya gasped as the power surrounded her, and then seeped into her skin. From her skin formed vines about her, flowers bloomed from it swiftly… and then it faded away. When she looked up – Cenarius was gone… “Thank you, Shan’do” she bowed her head.
She glanced over to her Panther, who laid with his head on his massive paws… Mya scoot over and leaned over – she pressed her forehead against his and sighed softly. “I will find a way to get us out here first…” she whispered and then kissed his fur. Komi purred gently and then huffed slightly…
Suddenly someone appeared – Komi jerked up, but was yanked back by the chain. He let out a small yip and then lowered his head, glowing eyes looking to the assassin.
Mya turned to her and sighed deeply. “This King is a fool, shrouded by hate. I am of the Cenarian Circle, we vow allegiance to no one but the Dream, and the Trees who connect us to it… A seed of corruption was dropped into the pool – around 3 months ago… the Tree told me this…” she sighed. “A simple toss of a corrupted relic, or item. It should still be at the bottom of the waters…” she grit her teeth. “You find that item, and it should prove that I am correct… Who ever did this – cast a powerful spell to put an illusion over the entire tree, no one could see it dying… The tree… she only has a few weeks of life… It is just fair luck that my yearly Ritual fell now. Which, I come every year – around this time… I reconnect the tree’s bond to the well, and to the dream – allowing a syphon of power to occur… without that then the tree is nothing beyond the corruption…” she spoke and then sighed.
“Regardless if I am guilty or not – the tree is dying, plain and simple. I have the power to restore it. And if I die – my father will come and he will not be pleased. We have been serving your people since the tree was first rooted, performing a duty – peace is between us, and we do not seek war…” she shook her head. “I wouldn’t dare step foot in this blasted city unless I had to, I would be an idiot to try and corrupt the tree, being Night Elf…” she shook her head and scoffed. “You have two options – you can either believe me, or don’t. Either way, it doesn’t change anything – your tree dies. Even if I escape – how might I get to the pools and cleanse it?” she shook her head. “All is lost for you, and your people.”

Kalise took in a breath, her arms still crossed. "These aren't....my people..." She spoke and shook her head. "Though this city is my home I am not one of them...truly I am from another city. I just happen to live here..." She let out a long sigh. "Your words druid speak a truth that I can not imagine. The destruction of The Tree of Life would mean the destruction of the people of Alda..." She pondered a moment. "I can't let the tree die..." She spoke and shook her head. "My people are sworn to protect the forests, the world trees." She uncrossed her arms and shifted again. "If you cause more destruction, druid, it will be by my blade that you will perish. Understand?" She questioned. She then stepped over toward Akomi. "Don't bite me, alright?" She stared into his eyes from behind her mask. She reached into her pocket then and slipped a small tool from it. She reached to the collar that was tightly fastened around the panther's neck. A few clicks here and there and then suddenly the collar fell off.
"If you're telling the truth, your life may be in more danger than you realize, druid. I have been ordered to kill you, it was today that I recieved the order." She spoke as she stood slowly, her eyes staring to the huge panther still. "It seems if what you say is correct that Master Orion knew you would be coming to the city, and maybe he didn't want you to touch the tree, if there was such an illusion...maybe he knew you would break it in your repairs?" She questioned and turned. "Come." She touched the Akomi and then touched Mya on her shoulder. Suddenly they disappeared from the room leaving nothing behind. They reappeared in the room of pools beneath the tree.
Kalise took in a deep breath, it had been quite sometime since she had teleported more than herself. She glanced around the room and teleported. The sound of a guard falling to the ground echoed through the empty room. Suddenly Kalise was back at Mya's side. "Well, what do you need?" She questioned. "How do we fix it?" She looked to the dark tar like pool. She crossed her arms again. "If it draws attention of the royal guard I will help fend them off the best I can." She nodded. "If it looks like you're causing more harm to the tree..." She grit her teeth behind the mask. She then shook her head. "Just fix it, druid." She was full of so much confusion, she wanted to trust the elf before her, but in the same token she didn't trust her at all...before her eyes the pool had transformed from the beautiful golden color to the black tar that it was now...

Mya studied the girl – “If you are sworn to the forests… the trees…” she squeezed her brows together. She could feel a certain energy from her, different than that of a typical High Elf… She sighed and nodded. “If you feel that I am harming the tree then you may end me, I won’t stop you” she then looked to Komi, who nodded slowly.
Suddenly they teleported – Mya gasped and she looked around… the guards collapsed, there were many more than before…. “Okay…” she spoke and then stepped to the dark pools. She slowly walked into the pools, allowing the black tar to swallow her legs, covering her leather robes… She held her hand out and her staff magically appeared in her hands.
“I must enter the dream… I will not be present in my body… if something happens…” she glanced to the assassin. She then held her staff up above her head and her eyes began to glow a bright green – she summoned all her power, and then she gasped. Her soul ejected from her body, Kalise would be able to see it floating in the air – into the tree, entering the gateway to the dream.
Mya stood in a forest of extremely tall trees. Wisps and spirits float around, nyphs and fairies – stags and doe, bears and forest cats all surrounded the dying tree. This was the same tree, appearing in the dream. Though the lands were different, it was what the world would appear if the huge city was not built over it. Huge thick lush forests, filled with magic…
A huge green dragon sat next to the tree – his mouth open – syphoning power into it. Every creature around was doing everything they could to save the tree, prolonging it’s death…. A Keeper of the Grove stepped forward, it looked like a smaller version of Cenarius…
“You have come to cure the tree?” he questioned, his eyes looking to the wilting hallow of the tree…
“Yes…” she spoke and nodded. The reality was the tree in their world was a reflection of this – and rather the tree in the dream was the real thing. No matter what happened to the tree in the real world, it would always grow back to be exactly as the one in the dream, rather it was like a beacon of power, syphoning from the dream….
She held her staff up and sucked in a deep breath. The glowing jewel in her staff began to vibrate… it was the essence of the World Tree – the tree which seeded all of the others. Life…Fire…Moon…and so on… “Aid me with your strength” She called out to the creatures of the grove. They all began to form a circle around her. Soon enough she had… owls, birds, cats, bears, rabbits – all sorts of creatures. They focused just as she, beams of light came from each creature until Mya was a source of their power. The power then leaked into her staff – and shot towards the tree.
She held it with strong arms as their combined effort seeped into the tree. Behind her Cenarius appeared – he held his hand out and helped too. From his palm came the largest beam of power that shot into Mya. The power from her staff grew two times fold, and the tree began to heal. The dark lines of death began to fate, a healthy brown bark color began to cover the trunk and limbs… Leaves grew, turning bright green – then the final touch… The bark turned slightly lighter, a glowing yellow color – that of Holy Life, she was healed.
Mya gasped and stumbled to the ground, the creatures all steadying her now…
“You must return now… You did well, my child” Cenarius held his palm out, and sent her soul back….
Mya returned to her body instantly – she gasped, her staff lowering… the Pools returned to the glowing yellow state, the tree was healthy again… she glanced down.. she couldn’t breath, her body was stiff… a sword stuck right through her chest… Komi was was raging with anger, he attacked the guards with immense power, as they swarmed into the room swiftly….

Kalise watched as the druid walked into the pools. "I will do my best to protect you." She nodded, she searched about the room. "If you are to heal our tree that is the least I can offer." She nodded. Kalise watched as her soul was projected into the tree, she leaned back looking up to the tree in awe. She'd never seen anything quite like it. She then turned, she could hear the sound of armor clanking. "Get ready big guy." She nodded to the panther. "This isn't going to be easy, I imagine the king will send quite the army." She sighed then. The doors were kicked open.
Kalise teleported swiftly, taking out the knights. She didn't draw her daggers though, no, she refused to harm them. Misguided judgement, that was not a death sentence. They would see. She thought. She aimed her strikes very carefully, causing the knights to fall to the ground unconscious. Kalise turned quickly and brought a knight down as he rushed toward the druid. "No." She groaned. She could feel the power of the tree surging, she could feel the weight of the corruption lifting. Kalise was caught off guard then as an arrow pierced through her abdomen. She gasped and stumbled as the pain raced through her body. Just as she turned she was shoved aside by a knight harshly. She pulled her dagger but her next step felt heavy...a poison was on that arrow...
Kalise choked slightly as she watched it happen. She watched the blade push through the chest of the druid. She could see the fear in the woman's eyes as she came back to. Then suddenly she was grabbed. Kalise fought against her attacker. She pulled her dagger and sliced into him. Blood splattered on the ground. She fought as she felt something sharp push into her thigh. Though she didn't give in. Her vision began to cave. "This is all a mistake..." She choked out, she could taste blood in her mouth, the bitter metallic taste. "She...fixed it...don't you see?" She slashed forward, killing a knight.
After that darkness followed. Kalise was ill from the arrow for days to come. When she finally woke she woke to shackles upon her wrists. "Wh..." Kalise glanced around. "Oh for the love of....you've got to be joking..." She growled. She knew this room well. A jail cell of the pits.
"Aye, she's awake, then." A guard spoke from outside of her cell. "Would you look at that...?" He chuckled. "How'd you survive that poison?"
Kalise struggled against the shackles she grit her teeth. "Let me go." She snapped. She then heard the rumbling growl of the panter next to her. Kalise looked to the huge beast. It was then that she realized she'd been stripped of her armor. She sat in her thin undergarmets, a thin black shirt and tight black pants. Her golden green eyes looked to the creature for a long moment as her hair fell around her face. "Didn't think you'd end up in here with me...did you?" She whispered softly.
The door opened and the king stepped in then. He nodded to two guards whom lifted her to her feet holding her for him to look at her. "You. Who are you?" He questioned as he gazed into her eyes.
Kalise grit her teeth, she could feel the wound in her thigh now, the wound in her abdomen. She let out a groan of pain. "Doesn't matter, does it, my king?" She questioned. Her eyes then gazed into his.
King Marikoth stared at her, his jaw loosened as his eyes looked into hers. He took a step back. "Keep her here, no one else gets in." He turned and rushed from the cell then without another word.
Kalise was slammed to her back harshly by the guards whom kicked at her a few times before leaving the cell. Kalise shut her eyes and let out a slow breath. Pain raged through her body, she rolled to her side and looked to Akomi her brows drawn together. "If they killed your master why didn't they just kill you, huh?" She asked through grit teeth. "Why didn't they just kill me?" She fought against the shackles. Suddenly she teleported and stumbled, the shackles fell to the ground. She leaned against the wall for support. She glanced out of the bars of the cell for a long moment, waiting for the guard to turn. Kalise moved and gave a chuckle, she pulled a key, she'd grabbed it off of one of the guards. She unlocked the gate to the room. Kalise moved to a chest and pulled her clothing from it. She slipped her leathers and armor on and hooked her mask to her hip. "Alright my furry friend." She spoke as she stepped back into the cell. "Shall we?" She asked as she unlocked the collar from around his neck. She placed her hand on his back and they teleported.
Kalise let out a cry and fell to her knees, blood dripping from her nose. She held her side. "God...the least they could do...if they wanted to keep a prisoner alive is to actually dress a wound..." She growled out. They were in the middle of a field at least 5 miles from Alda. Kalise stared to the tree, it looked vibrant as ever. "She did it...huh?" She asked as she held her side. "At....least she made it...." She grit her teeth and stood, only to stumble again to her knees. "I should have known something was wrong when a high elf asked for me to assassinate someone..." Her golden green eyes stared to the city. "I only wish I could have stopped them from killing her..." She spit blood from her mouth into the grass and stood shakily.

The next moments were pure darkness. There was a deep rumbling voice – “Wake, my daughter…” there was a voice…
Her eyes slowly blinked open – she rest in the arms of a familiar face. He had a long green beard, but soft eyes – like nature coursed through him… he smiled as she returned to him… “Ah… there you are…” he whispered and leaned down and kissed her forehead. “It has been years since I held you like this…” he chuckled. “you were never one keen to being coddled…” he stood then and held her in his arms.
“Am I in the dream?” she whispered to him..
“Yes…Look” he lifted his head. Before them was the World Tree. It was twice the size of all of the other trees, so high she couldn’t see the end of it… It’s limbs grew outward, and all about it was orbs of life, green glowing fruit that dangled down. One fell from the top, floating downward slowly. A Grove Keeper held it’s hands out, taking the fruit as it landed.
“The World Tree… it is deeply rooted into the Soul of the Earth, the seeds… fuel the Dream, and keep the world thriving.” He spoke as he began down a huge mountain of stairs. “The seeds of the fruit have amazing powers, as you know… They have the capability to bring life to the world, and even to you…” he looked down and smiled. “You will be reborn… a Warden of the Dream, infused with her power…” he climbed down to the base of the tree.
“Will I be like you, father?” She questioned.
“Yes, I once died…and was brought back… but now I am bound to her, as you will too…” he smiled “but your death was for a greater cause than my own.. she will be forgiving.” He spoke and brought her to the tree’s base. He laid her down on an extremely large root that arched upward. The root still had plenty of space, easily the width of a king size bed…
Mya was extremely weak, as if she could not move. Her soul did not belong in the Dream, it was being tugged away, but her father kept her there…
Behind Malfurion – Cenarius appeared. He held one of the Orbs of Life in his hand. He lowered it to Malfurion. He held it, it was much like a glowing green melon. He squeezed it and cracked it right in half, the juices flowing over his hands and dripping to the ground. Inside the center was a round seed… He lifted it and held it in his hand.
“Earth Mother…Bring this Druid to your aid, allow her to do your bidding… Save her and give her a second chance…” He then placed the seed on Mya’s chest…
***
“What is that?” An Elf Questioned, standing next to the elf was Tyrande… There was a bubbling in the Moon Well. Tyrande approached the well and knelt down. “Hm… Something from the dream…” she whispered.
From the well – a body appeared, covered completely in roots and vines. Tyrande reached forward and pulled the body out and laid it upon the ground. “Someone has been… reborn and delivered here…through the dreams…” she lifted the mummified like body and carried it to one of the stone beds – where a druid might drift into the dream….
“What does that mean?” the elf questioned.
“It means Mother Earth has spared one of her young, they will remain in this wrapping until their body has formed, otherwise it is just a soul within this shell. The same happened to Malfurion…years ago…” she sighed softly. “We wont know who until it is complete…” she whispered.
***
Akomi grumbled as they teleported… he looked to Kalise and nuzzled her slightly. He then grew in size and leaned down, urging her to mount… As soon as she did – he rushed off into the direction of Teldarassil…
They traveled, and he did not rest, his speed was incredible, he could easily outrun any typical mount. They crossed the hills, through a thick forest, over a mountain pass – and they came upon the huge valley of Teldrassil. The Moon Tree covered much of the land, like a blanket of secrecy… They bounded down the stairs, until they were under the moon lit canopy.
There were buildings at the base of the tree, but many stairs and steps up and around the trunk of the tree, where more buildings were fashioned.. Akomi took them to the base of the tree, and to the Moon Well…
Tyrande stood from the wrapped body and turned, her eyes falling upon the new comer. “I take it there is no coincidence on your arrival… what has happened?” She questioned, it was clear to her – something was off, the aura of the new comer was different…

Kalise stumbled slightly before she weakly pulled herself onto Akomi. She drifted as he ran. Her hands curled into his fur. She slipped into dreams of a past that she'd long forgotten.
Kalise stood in her forest city of Orne. She held her sword in her hand as she spared with Feno. She chuckled as she sliced downward to be blocked by him. They would spar for hours on end. Usually it was Feno who wanted to stop, not Kalise she never wanted ot give up a good fight.
Kalise looked to the beautiful city as they came down into the valley. "Oh...the moon tree..." She breathed. She'd never seen it in real life. Kalise held her side and groaned as they descended. "Where are you taking me...?" She questioned. Soon enough she slipped from Akomi's back her eyes looked to Tyrande. Kalise looked around the beautiful room they sat it. She glanced to the cacoon of tree roots that was behind Tyrande on the stone table. "I..." She stumbled slightly. "The druid that this creature belonged to, her life was taken by the soldiers of the royal guard of Alda...The Tree of Life was corrupted...she managed to save it, but I couldn't stop the knights..." She took in quick breaths.
Tyrande raised her brows, she took in a slow breath. "You're speaking very fast." She spoke, her voice calm. "Come, let's have a look." She led Kalise up the stairs to another stone table where she urged her to lay down.
Kalise moved and grit her teeth as she moved onto the table. "I was requested to assasinate the druid..." She spoke softly. "But, something stopped me...I've never felt like that before, I've always acted and I've never faultered..."
Tyrande inspected her wounds, she grabbed herbs and other such items. "You're an assassin?" She questioned. "I see..." She looked over her body carefully. "You've very interesting eyes for an elf." She raised a brow. "Not many carry those eyes."
Kalise looked away slightly, she remembered the eyes of Marikoth, he held the same eyes as her. She'd never seen someone with the same shade of gold in their eyes. "Yes, I'm aware." She spoke softly. She let out a yelp as Tyrande packed her wound. She gripped the side of the stone table and groaned as pain surged through her body. "I...have....to find out....who corrupted the tree..." She said through grit teeth. "I have to stop them...before more are corrupted..." She gasped.
Tyrande tilted her head slightly and then grinned. "Ah, you're not a High Elf are you?" She questioned. "High Elves aren't as atuned to the trees as you seem to be..."
Kalise shook her head. "No...no my mother is a Nymph...I am from Orne..." She seethed in pain. "My....my father is dead...I never knew him..."
"Orne..." Tyrande nodded, "Orne was attacked years ago, I remember, before the wars were settled...your people got caught in the middle of the sensless war."
"Yes..." Kalise lay her head back her vision tunneling. "Yes...we did..." She muttered as she fell unconscious.
Tyrande looked to the body wrapped in roots her eyes showed a hint of sadness. It made sense now. She knew who it was within the cacoon.
**
Kalise woke several hours later she sat up, her blood splotched onto the cool stone. She glanced around. She shook her head slightly, shaking the fuzzyness of sleep from her body. She then took in a deep breath as she slid from the table. She looked to the pool of the moon water, the beautiful blue color. It was unlike the pool of the Tree of Life. It was incredible how different each tree was. She raised a brow and turned as she heard footsteps approaching.

Hours passed… Nothing but darkness…
Akomi sat, eyes watching her – his head resting on his paws…his tail was tucked around him, flicking slightly as he waited… It was hours later, the early morning, when the vines began to move. They snaked slowly – moving from her head and then shrinking, down to her feet, until it was gone completely. She law in the complete nude… her hair sprawled out about her shoulders.
Tyrande rushed into the room, seemingly she knew. “Mya” she whispered and placed a glowing hand on her shoulder…
Mya’s eyes slowly opened, she coughed a little bit as her first breath came to. “M-mom?” she whispered, slowly sitting up.
“Yes… it is me dear” Tyrande cupped her cheek. “Let’s get you dressed” she helped her up and lead her to a set of doors on the far side of the room. It opened up into their home, it had a hallway that lead to an open living room… However, they took the first right – Mya’s room.
She stepped inside, Akomi right behind them, he was quiet and stealthy, as usual. She stepped to her wardrobe and pulled out some clothes. Under garmets first, then a pair of leather pants and a tunic – her robes after, shoulder pieces… she had a spare set, it was a sort of uniform for the Cleanser, which generally there was only one of…
“Tell me what you remember…” Tyrande spoke to her, eyes studying her daughter…
“I arrived… Got to the tree, as I began – the waters turned from the golden color to a dark swirling tar… the tree wilted… It was an illusion, discovered as I reconnected the tree and sort of … refreshed it…” she shook her head. “I was captured, they thought I had done it… When someone rescued me. An assassin, who was sent to kill me…. Seems she valued the tree over her task…” she sighed and shook her head. “How did… Komi get here?”
“The Assassin… Akomi brought her here… she is resting, wounded pretty badly…Would you like to see her?” Tyrande questioned. “I’ll get some food for you… go.. go see her” she spoke and then nodded. “You should know that she is Nymph of some sort – might be why she cared for the tree…” Tyrande then stepped away.
Mya stood and then made her way back to the Moon-Well… she glanced to the assassin, who’s armor was sitting next to her… “Hello…” she spoke as she noticed the woman was awake. “Is the tree healed?” she questioned…

Kalise stared to her, her jaw loose. "The tree...yes...yes it's....I..." She drew her brows together. "The royal guard..." She glanced to where the cacoon had been. "I thought..." She pondered for a long moment. "I've heard stories of the dream world, of Earth Mother bringing those too young to pass back from the dead...is that what has happened?" She questioned.
Kalise took in a breath, she looked away for a moment. "I'm sorry, we haven't gotten off on the right foot, have we?" She questioned. "I knew from the moment I recieved the letter from the high elves of Thrandor that something was wrong..." She pursed her lips slightly as she thought a moment. "I questioned my master, but he told me that I had become soft, it's been awhile since I have been given an assignment, I was trying to find my family...I can't remember them..." She sighed then and shook her head. "I am Kalise...an assassin of the Divison De Draconique. Though I never kill an innocent. I've made sure of it. I've turned down assignments in the past, just as I would much rather help you than kill you. The Tree of Life means much more than whatever rivalery that Master Orion has with you...or your race." Kalise looked to the moon pond a long moment. "I..."
Kalise thought a long time, her lips parted, her brows tucked tightly together. Her golden green eyes searched the blue glowing waters. "I apologize that I did not stop that knight from harming you in the first place. I am usually much better than that..."
Kalise looked to Mya a long moment then, "What causes such corruption?" She questioned softly. She then looked back to the water, her hair fell forward, the tips of her ears showing now through her blonde hair. "I've never seen the life tree like that...it was truly dying...you saved it." She crossed her arms once again.
**
"My king...." A soldier bowed deeply before the king in his throne room.
"What is it captain?" King Marikoth questioned, his brows tucked together.
"The prisoner, the girl....she has escaped."
"What..." The king spoke he pursed his lips. He pulled a small trinket from his pocket, a medal emblem. The emblem of the Division De Draconique. He turned it over in his hands. "She was an assassin of the Division." He spoke. He walked down the stairs from his throne to the captain. "Do you know what this means? A member of the Division working with a Night Elf." He scoffed. "I'll put an end to this." He pushed passed him and walked from the castle. The captain followed him, though he didn't speak a word as the king walked through the city. Citizens moved aside for his highness, bowing to him as he walked by. He wasn't an evil king, but he certianly commanded respect and he was given it by every citizen of Alda. Marikoth knocked swiftly on the door of the mansion. The metal door knocker echoed into the huge home.
Soon enough the door opened. Elias looked to the king with wide eyes. "My king." He spoke and bowed deeply. "What brings you to my doorstep?" He backed up, "Please, come in."
Marikoth stepped into the home. He looked to the trinkets and things that Elias had in the foyer. He pulled the emblem from his pocket. It was a simple eagle with its wings stretched outward. The metal was an off blue color, one that belonged to an officer of the Division. Marikoth held the emblem forward, "Who does this belong to?" He questioned.
Elias' eyes fell slightly as he reached out and took the emblem. He turned it over in his hands. He pressed each emblem himself. Each member had a specific tag that helped him identify who the emblem belonged to. This one. This was incredibly special. The silver blue color only belonged to one member. "I...it may take...time for me to figure it out, we all have this emblem..." He noted his that was worn on his collar above his heart on the left side. Each member wore their emblem here.
"Come now, Elias. I'm no fool." Marikoth raised a brow, "I know you all too well my friend. You know who this belongs to, I can see it one your face. What is her name? Who is she?" The king narrowed his eyes.
Elias took in a deep breath. "My king..." He walked into the living area. "Would you care for a drink?" He questioned as he shakily poured himself a glass of whiskey.
"Certianly." The king replied, a smile on his lips. "Who is the girl?" He asked.
"She may as well be my daughter." Elias replied then, he looked to the king with stone cold eyes. "I've raised her from a young child to what she has become. Tell me what has happened."
The king took his glass from Elias, a look of surprise on his face. "She was imprisoned by my guards last night for aiding a Night Elf in corrupting The Tree of Life. Did you see the tree wilt yesterday?" He questioned. "Master Orion wrote me a letter, warning me of this Night Elf that would come to our city. I didn't recieve the letter in time, unfortunately, by time I'd opened the letter the tree had already begun to wilt."
Elias shook his head. "No." He looked away. He moved the emblem about in his fingertips. "Karise wouldn't do such a thing. She told me there was an illusion cast over our life tree, that the druid, the Night Elf...that she had to heal the tree..." He let out a slight laugh. "She was supposed to kill that girl..." He muttered. "That was her assignment."
"Well, the NIght Elf is dead." The king spoke, "Now, Elias." He set his glass of whiskey down. "I want you to retrieve this assassin." His eyes bored into Elias, "Bring her to me alive. You understand?"
Elias took in a breath, "My king I've no idea where she could have gone...."
Marikoth's lips curved up in a grin then. "Elias, don't play me for a fool, I'll not ask again. You've people in low places. Use them." He turned slightly, "Besides, I know of the mark." He watched Elias. "I know what you can do Elias. I know everything that happens in this city. So, why don't you be a good boy and fetch her for me? Hm?"
Elias grit his teeth. "What interest do you have in her?"
"Treason isn't enough for you?" Marikoth questioned, a brow raised. "She killed...." He paused a moment counting, tilting his head back and forth slightly as he did so. "16 of my men, and that isn't counting the men that the Night Elf's panther killed. 16 of my soldiers, Elias. Does that mean nothing to you? For a girl that isn't your blood? Or shall you fall for this girl's actions? " He turned so his back was to Elias then and paused. "I'd hate to see that happen to you Elias, you've been such a great help in the past. Who would lead this find orginization if you were to fall for this? What would that say of the Division De Draconique? A traitor as the leader." He paused a moment. "Everything would fall apart." The king then exited the home.
Elias took he took in deep breaths. He slammed his whiskey glass down on the table, it busted into shards from the force. "God Damnit, Kalise!" He growled. He moved through the home quickly, blood dripping from his hand from the small cuts from the glass. "I've no choice." He shook his head as he wrapped his hand in a thick cloth. "No choice at all in this my dear..." He sighed heavily as he pulled a small orb from his desk. He sat down in his chair and placed his hand over it. As he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath the orb began to swirl with red glowing light.
**
Kalise faultered slightly where she stood. Her eyes fluttered and she caught herself with the cold stone of the table. She grit her teeth as a strong pain flooded her body, her mind felt as though it was being compressed. Kalise let out a whimper as she fought it. "I..." She fell to her knees. Her chest heaved.
Where are you Kalise? You said you'd be home. Elias' voice echoed in her mind.
Kalise gasped for air as her body fought for control. She fell to her side on the floor then as her eyes rolled into the back of her head. Upon the side of her neck, just beneath the skin a red glow could be seen. It was a thin bar about two inches in length. Her face contored as all of her muscles tensed.
Kalise you can't fight me, you know this fact very well.
Kalise's vision faded away suddenly her body fell limp, her breathing seemed to be non-existent. She opened her eyes to see Elias standing before her. She stood in a dark smokey realm. "Elias..." She breathed.
"What have you done?" He questioned, his eyes were glowing red in this dream state.
"Elias...I didn't..." Kalise shook her head.
"You killed memebers of the royal guard, Kalise." Elias' voice was cross.
"Elias, I was protecting that druid..." Tears streamed down her cheeks. "Our tree...it was dying...she saved it, don't you see?" Her voice trembled.
Elias stared to her, his eyes softened, the red glow dissipated. "Kalise..." His voice grew soft. He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her gently. "The king has ordered me to deliver you to him...I could die for telling you such things...You are the only thing I have close to family, Kalise. I can't deliver you to the king." He stepped back and stared into her eyes.
Kalise' breath shook as she stared to Elias. "He killed an innocent girl...brutally...in cold blood...Orion ordered me to assassinate her...Elias something is wrong..."
Elias only gave a nod, "Then you must run." He spoke his voice serious. "Do not let the Division catch you, Kalise." He cupped her cheek. "Do not let me hear that you've been captured."
Suddenly pain entered Kalise' body once again. She took in a sharp breath. She could feel blood trickling from her nose. Her body never reacted well when Elias forced her into that world. He had only done it to her a handful of times. Each time it was to save her from making a mistake. It was the connection that he used to tell the members of the Division orders from all around the world. Kalise took in shaken breaths as her vision cleared, she found herself looking up into the worried eyes of Tyrande.
Kalise pushed herself up. She shakily shived and grabbed her armor. She began pulling it on. "I cannot stay here." She spoke her voice soft. "It is not safe for me, or is it safe for your people." She grit her teeth. Blood soaked through her shirt where the arrow wound was, her tense muscles had torn a few of Tyrande's stitches. She clipped on her shoulder piece. Kalise paused then as she looked to the piece that fit over her chest, she ran her fingers along the ripped fabric. It was in that moment she realized her emblem was gone...that is how the king knew...that is how he'd come to Elias. Her stomach grew a pit then as she realized the danger that Elias was in. He would be tried for treason if she did not return to Alda, if she could not prove her actions. Kalise finished fastening down her armor. She looked to the two, her skin slightly pale. "Thank you for your hospitality." She bowed her head before she started off away from them. Kalise stumbled slightly as she walked, she was in no condition to venture out on her own. She shut her eyes and then suddenly she vanished...droplets of blood remained on the ground where she stood just seconds ago.
Kalise fell to her hands and knees, she'd teleported to the cliffs above the city. Blood dripped from her nose. She grit her teeth as she focused forward. "Come on." She spoke to herself. "Just a scratch...you've had worse." She stumbled and fell again, her breathing was labored as she gripped the grass between her fingertips. Blood stained into the dirt beneath her. She shut her eyes tightly and teleported, but she only moved about 10 feet this time...

Mya crossed her arms as she listened to Mya mention the High born – Orion. “Hmm…” she shook her head. “Curious to think he ordered my assassination, to wonder how he knew I’d be coming too…” she sighed deeply. “Much to figure out…” she shook her head. “My father will not be pleased…. At all…” she bit her lip slightly.
She followed Kalise’s gaze, looking towards the Moon Well… she sighed and shook her head. “You were just doing what you had to, in the end, you meant well…” she thought for a long moment. “The world tree… I’ve never seen anything like that before. I’ve healed some corruption, but never external like that…” she turned to Kalise and pondered a moment.
“Generally magic from the Emerald Dream seeps through, and it causes a distortion, but never an evil corruption like so.. my father would know more… but whoever tainted that tree – truly sought to destroy it. The only thing is, they don’t realize how the tree’s actually work. Killing that tree is not permanent. If they want to really destroy the source of the power… well… that is much harder…” she shook her head. “So we are dealing with someone who doesn’t know the ins and outs..”
It was then that Kalise suddenly keeled over, she gasped as Kalise was writhing on the floor. She quickly knelt down and lifted her head, keeping it from bashed into the stone cold ground. “What the…?” she questioned. Her eyes glanced over a glowing beam under her skin. “A device?” he questioned up as Tyrande stepped over.
Tyrande leaned down and pressed a finger to the line and nodded. “Yes… there is some dark magic in this…” she helped push Kalise to rest again on the stone table…
Moments later Kalise rose – Mya gasped – her hand forward. “W-wait” she called out, suddenly she was gone. Mya grit her teeth and glanced to her mother, who nodded to her. “I have to go get her…”
“She will die without your help… go, go figure out who tried to assassinate you, and why all of this is happening… take her to your father, you both will be safe there…” Tyrande nodded and placed a hand on her daughters shoulder and nodded. “I will handle things here…” she then hurried off, to bolster the defenses and such…
Mya looked to her panther, who growled and then grew in size easily. She leaped onto his back and he shot off – seemingly he had her scent on his nose, she wasn’t far off. They climbed the grand stairs to the top of the plateau of the mountain side.
“There she is!” Mya pointed – she watched a figure collapsed. “Damnit” she grunted and then suddenly the panther leaped far into the air. They landed right next to the limp body…
Mya climbed from the panther and lifted Kalise. She cursed under her breath and then climbed back onto Akomi. She positioned Kalise so that she was infront of her, she pushed both of her legs on each side of the panther, and then wrapped her arms around the weak body. “Go – to the dens” she whispered.
They traveled for a while until they came upon a ruins, old elven ruins, within the thick of the forest. They passed through some magical barrier – it was an illusion. They rushed forward to the larget building, which had a winding stairs down into “the den”
As they came down into a main round room – a figure lay in the middle. A elven man, large antlers from his head, his body glowing a gentle green, he was sleeping, in the Emerald Dream…
Mya lowered Kalise onto another comfortable bed in the room, she sighed deeply and then held her hands up – she cast a spell, her fingers glowing in response. From the bed green vines and leaves crawled over Kalise, their magic would seep into her – healing her in a cocoon, much like when her body was regrown previously…
Mya stepped over to the sleeping Elf, she knelt down and lowered her head – she pressed her palm to his chest and took in a deep breath. Her entire body began to glow, and she suddenly was drawn into the dream with him. Her body slumped to the side, as she was pushed into slumber, along side her father.

Malfurion held his arms outward – a spell casting from his hands. Above a huge span of fields a thunder storm appeared, lightning crashed down from the sky bolting a sea of demons. He turned his head slightly as Mya appeared next to him. “You should not be here – “ he called out to her.
“Father – what is happening?” she called out over the clatter of war. Before them were Cenetaurs, Satyrs, Grove Wardens, Treants, Fairies, Nymphs, Serpents, Bears, Cats… every creature came to stop the demons who opened a rift into the Dream.
“They sensed the Tree of Life’s weakness, they are attacking – “ he called out.
Mya grit her teeth and stepped forward – the tree of life was before them. In the Emerald Dream it was twice the size and glowed a beautiful bright golden color, it’s power coursing through its bark like lava through the earth. She held her hands up and summoned a great power – which was enhanced in the dream. A huge wall grew from the earth, it was 2 feet thick of giant vines, it circled the perimeter of the tree…
Malfurion looked down to her and then nodded in approval. “Whatever you’re here for – we must defeat these demons first…” he spoke.
***
Akomi stepped forward and knelt down – sniffing Mya slightly, and then suddenly he fell as well, slipping into the dream. Typically not anyone can join the dream, but because Akomi was healed in the well, he had a connection. Those attuned to nature and the spirit of the world might be able to join as well…
***
Akomi appeared next to Mya – he growled loudly and grew in size. “Akomi” Mya glanced to him and then nodded. She held her hand up and from her palm a thick tree branch, covered in vines appeared – it curved and then a green string appeared. A bow. She pulled back the string and a green arrow appeared… She then climbed onto Akomi and he leaped into the air – Mya pulled back the arrow in the midst of it and fired it.
The arrow flew forward easily 100 feet and pierced a demon directly between the eyes, and then the arrow consumed him with vines, which constricted him until he was writhing on the ground….

Kalise took in shaken breaths, her vision was caving in. She collapsed to her side as she tried to forced herself to her feet again. She felt warm arms around her as her eyes fluttered. In the next moments she was in and out of consciousness, she felt the panther beneath her, arms around her to hold her steady. "Wait..." She whispered, but her voice was small. "No...." She muttered before falling fully unconscious.
Kalise was in and out of consciousness upon the journey to the dens. Her vision was blurred, she didn't have the energy to fight. Her eyes opened slightly when she was placed upon the bed. "What..." She choked out. "What...is happening...?" She felt the vines as they moved over her body and then darkness followed.
Silence.
Laughter filled the air. "You're it!" A young voice called out.
Kalise was just a child, 4 or 5. She ran through the forest swiftly a smile on her lips. She was in pursuit of another Nymph child. They were playing a game of tag. She slipped through the trees easily and rounded a huge oak, her hand grazed his shoulder. "Hah!" She giggled as she ran off in a different direction. She leaped over old fallen trees that were overgrown with moss. Rabbits rushed off into the forest from the loud thuds of their feet upon the forest floor.
Kalise rounded a tree and then suddenly she slammed into something. She fell onto her back, her eyes stared up to a high elf. His eyes looked to her for a long moment. "What are you doing in the forest child?" He questioned.
Kalise glanced over her shoulder, she could hear the laughter of the other children as they played. "Um..."
"No, what are you doing here?" He knelt down he stared into her eyes. He was an old elf, his hair was short and grey, he had a well kept beard upon his jaw.
"She was just coming home." Astris spoke, "Kalise." She held her hand out. "Come on."
The elf looked to Astris a grin on his lips. "Astris." He spoke, "It's been awhile."
"That is has." Astris spoke her eyes watching him a moment. "Kalise." She said again as she helped her daughter up from the ground. "Come on, dear." She held her hand and began to lead her away.
"Don't forget who you are, Astris." The elf spok his arms crossed. "Have you told Marikoth?" He questioned.
Astris faultered in her steps slightly. She dropped Kalise' hand and stepped away to the elf. Kalise stood her eyes watched her mother as she got close to the elf, she couldn't make out the words that were spoken but her mother looked angry. It was a rare occurence that her mother became angry. Kalise glanced over her shoulder, the sound of laughter was gone now, the games were over for today...
Kalise sat up she sucked in a sharp breath. Her lungs felt as though dust remained in them. She coughed and rolled from the grip of the vines as they began to fall away. She fell to her hands and knees on the floor. "Where..." She gasped as she moved her hand to her side, her pain was gone. She stood slowly, her brows tucked together. How? Her eyes then fell on Mya and Akomi, and then to the unknown man. "Where am I?" She questioned and looked around. She remembered Mya's face just before she'd fallen unconscious. She knew the druid must have healed her. Kalise walked slowly over to the slumbering bodies. She looked to the green antlers upon the man. "What happened?" She questioned as she moved around the bed. She placed her hand on Mya's shoulder.
Suddenly the world felt as though it was spinning. Kalise took in a quick breath, her knees buckled and she slumped to the ground, her body leaning against Mya.
**
Kalise appeared suddenly in the dream. The sound of war filled her ears. Her golden eyes looked up upon the Life Tree it was more beautiful than she'd ever seen. The beautiful golden glow. She staggered slightly, she felt a strange feeling within her chest. Her eyes began to glow a beautiful blue color. She watched as one of the demons stabbed into a Nymph. Something within her snapped. She vanished into a flurry of shadows. When she reappeared her blade was sliced into the chest of the demon, her other blade sliced through his neck and his head rolled to the ground. Kalise didn't think through her actions as she began to teleport through the demons, one by one she lobbed the heads off quickly.
Kalise was only visible for seconds at a time as she moved swiftly. She kicked into the chest of a demon droplets of water began to form in the place that she'd been. She stood for a moment on the body of a demon. She watched as a rush of demons headed toward the wall that Mya created. Kalise lifted up her hand and suddenly water began to draw from the atmosphere. The power that she held in the Dream world was incredible. The water began to spin faster and faster until it plowed into a the demons, ripping them from the ground and snapping their bones easily. Kalise stumbled back her eyes wide, the glowing only seemed to intensify. She teleported again to finish off a demon that was missed by the tornado of destruction. Her dagger sliced into him and easily severed his spin. She stared into his fiery eyes as he fell to the ground, she kicked him from her blade and she turned. The valley was full of bodies of demons now. Her jaw was loose as she looked to the tree once more. Then suddenly a bright blue glow consumed her and she disappeared...
**
Kalise sat up, her eyes wide, she took in quick breaths as she scrambled to her feet. She stared to Mya and then to the man and finally her eyes fell on the panther. "Was that a dream....?" She muttered to herself. "I'm hallucinating...." She lifted her hands, she could see the tip of a blue glow beneath her clothing. Kalise removed the armor from her forearm and rolled up her sleeve. Blue ancient runes glowed on her skin. Slowly the glow began to fade away as she sat down. "How...?" She questioned, her eyes looked back to Mya.

Mya fired off several shots – taking out demons left and right. Akomi leaped from side to side, avoiding the incoming swings of oncomers – he jumped up and easily clawed down a demon, landing on its giant chest…
Mya glanced up slightly as she felt water droplets form on her skin and then lifted into the air… it was drawn from the earth and roots – she could feel the power surging. A suddenly tornado of rushing water plowed through the mass of demons – sending them flying left and right, even dismembering a few in it’s sheer power.
She hadn’t felt anything quite like that before… it wiped out the majority of the demons, though some still stood. As she pulled her bow back – she was smacked from her steed, sent flying to the blood stained ground. She cried out as there was a axe lodged in her chest.
Suddenly a woman appeared – she held her hands out – blasting the demon away, she leaned down and cupped Mya’s cheek. “I am here” she whispered and pulled the axe from her – blood gushing instantly. The woman placed her hand on her chest and a bright light shown – the same light like the Tree of Life…
Mya coughed deeply…the woman was gone, she recognized her before, her voice – they had met before. A Nymph…though her memory was fuzzy of it.
When Mya stood – she was gone… Akomi nudged her to climb back on… the war field was emptied. Some how in a manner of minutes the entire war had ended… Where did that power come from?
Mya held her hand up and the wall of roots began to descend into the ground, allowing the Tree of Life to glow brightly once more. She could sense the tree – it was okay… She glanced back to her father, who visibly huffed, he was confused as well… He waved to Mya, and they both woke easily.
Malfurion stood swiftly and looked to the young woman in the room, she suddenly rushed over and grasped her by the arm. “Who the hell are you?!” he shouted, his voice booming deep. “We are trained very intensely to enter the dream, there is much danger of you doing that! Were you that being? Explain your self!” he shouted.
Mya shifted from her slumber and quickly dashed to her father, her hands pushing on his huge bulky arms. “Father – no, she is okay. A Nymph, she saved my life…well…sorta. She saved me long enough to save the tree…” she shook her head.
Malfurion peered into the Nymph’s eyes and then let her go with a slightly shove. “A familiar soul…” he spoke and then stepped back. “Who are you?”
